The beneficiaries of Lal Dora who are taking benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban will now have to give property certificate. This certificate will have to be given only to those who do not have property registry. For this, orders have been issued by the local urban body directorate.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban, earlier only the eligible people used to get an amount of Rs. 2.5 lakh in three installments under the prescribed schemes. Now some changes have been made in the rules of this scheme. Under the scheme, people who have property in Lal Dora and do not have property registry will now have to get property certificates.
For this, one will have to apply for property certificate to the Nagar Parishad. Those who have applied and have property registry, registry and property tax records will suffice. To get the property certificate, one will have to apply to the Nagar Parishad and provide 10 years of record which should include the name of electricity, water application. After this, the property certificate can be obtained.
After getting the certificate, its copy will have to be submitted in the concerned branch, only then the benefit of PM Awas Yojana Urban can be availed and installments can be released. There are about 7500 eligible people in the Nagar Parishad area who do not have the registry and they have to be given property certificates. At present, property certificates have been issued to only about 150 people by the Nagar Parishad.
Lump sum amount will be deposited for CM Housing Scheme Urban till August 15
Housing for All has also extended the date for Chief Minister Housing Scheme Urban. Now eligible for this can pay lump sum amount online till August 15. Under this scheme, only those eligible will get the benefit who had applied in 2023. So far, the Municipal Council has given benefit to 851 people under the scheme. Those whose property is in the red line and does not have registration will have to get property certificate. Orders have been received from the headquarters for that.
