3. Eligibility & Selection Criteria
Educational Qualification (The ITI Factor)
There has been some confusion regarding the mandatory nature of ITI. As per the latest indicative notice:

General Rule: Class 10th Pass (Matriculation) from a recognized board OR ITI from NCVT/SCVT OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC).

Technical Posts: For specific roles in Civil, Mechanical, and S&T departments, an ITI or NAC may be mandatory. The detailed notification (expected Jan 30) will clarify post-wise requirements.
Age Limit (as of Jan 1, 2026)

General/EWS: 18 – 33 years (Revised to 36 years in some regional notices due to a one-time COVID relaxation).
