SBI customers alert! Internet banking service, UPI and YONO services will not be available on this date

SBI’s internet banking, Unified Payments Interface (UPI), IMPS, YONO, retail internet banking, NEFT and RTGS services will remain down for a few hours on the night of June 8. The bank has cited maintenance activities as the reason for this.

If you are a customer of the country’s largest government bank State Bank of India (SBI), then this news is very important for you. In fact, some of SBI’s digital banking services are going to be affected on June 8, 2025. However, these services will be affected at night. The reason for this is the maintenance activity of the bank. SBI has given this information to the customers through a tweet.

State Bank of India tweeted, “Due to scheduled maintenance activity, our services Unified Payments Interface (UPI), IMPS, YONO, Retail Internet Banking, NEFT and RTGS services will be unavailable on 08.06.2025 from 03:45 AM to 04:30 PM.” “These services will resume by 04:30 AM on 08.06.2025. In the meantime, customers are advised to use our UPI Lite and ATM services.

Alternative Solution:

UPI Lite: UPI Lite can be used for small transactions without a UPI PIN.

ATM: ATM service can be used for cash withdrawal and other basic banking services.

Periodic maintenance activities

Let us tell you that this is not the first time that SBI is doing this. The bank carries out maintenance activities from time to time. During this period, some services of the bank remain closed.

What should customers do?

  • Customers are advised to complete their important transactions in advance to avoid inconvenience.
  • Complete the use of UPI or YONO related services before the specified time.
  • Stay alert and if you notice any suspicious transactions, contact SBI immediately.
