School Timing Change: For the past one week, heat has started showing its colors across the country. The mercury has reached close to 45 in many states. Considering the situation, holidays have been declared in schools in many states. School timings have been changed in many places.
The timings of schools in Haryana have been changed. The timings of primary schools in Hisar district have been changed. The District Deputy Commissioner has given orders in this regard. As per the orders issued, the timings of government and non-government schools have been changed till May 31.
According to the orders, schools for children of classes 1 to 5 will run from 7 am to 12 pm. Apart from this, teachers will have to be present from 7 am to 1.30 pm. In this regard, District Elementary Education Officer Nirmal Dahiya has issued a notification to all schools. The Haryana Education Department has announced summer vacations from June 1 to June 30 in all government and private schools. According to the orders, schools will reopen on July 1.

However, changes are made in these keeping in mind the weather. Talking about Punjab, last time the vacations were held on May 21 due to sudden increase in heat.
