Wherever Aadhaar verification is required (such as hotel check-in, airport security), this QR code will be scanned. The app will also have facial authentication facility, through which the user’s identity will be instantly verified. This app will be different from the existing mAadhaar app.

No photocopy required – Now there will be no need to submit a copy of the Aadhaar card.
Security will increase – The QR code system will reduce the risk of duplication or misuse of the Aadhaar card.
Instant verification – Like UPI payments, verification will be completed once the QR code is scanned.
