The way in India there is a system of unique number i.e. Aadhaar card for the citizens, similarly the government is now preparing to issue unique registered number of the land also.

The central government will do this work under the One Nation One Registration program. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that land records will be kept digitally.

IP based technology will be used

According to the information, IP based technology will be used to keep records of land digitally. With the help of land papers, their records will be kept digitally.

14 digit unique number will be issued

Digital land records will provide benefits in many ways. It will be distributed under the 3C formula, which will benefit everyone. In these, the general public will be greatly benefited by the Central of Records, Collection of Records, Convenience of Records

Along with this, a 14 digit ULPIN number ie unique number of your land will be issued. In simple language, it can also be called the Aadhaar number of the land. In future, sitting at home, you will be able to see all the documents of your land in just one click.

Complete details of the land will be known in one click

At the same time, this ULPIN can also be used in many schemes like Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan Yojna). Apart from this, there will be no problem in buying and selling land anywhere in the country through ULPIN number. Full details of the buyer and seller will be revealed. If that land is divided later, then the Aadhaar number of that land will be different.

Land will be measured through drone

It is noteworthy that through the One Nation, One Registration program, the government will measure the land with the help of a drone. There will be no possibility of any mistake or disturbance due to land measurement by drone.

After this, this measurement will be made available on the official digital portal. At present, 140 million hectares of land is being cultivated in the country. 125 million hectares of land is being reclaimed.
