CBSE Marking System: Central Board of Secondary Education i.e. CBSE has issued clarification regarding division and distinction. According to CBSE, division, distinction etc. will not be given by CBSE on more than five subjects.

CBSE Marking System: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will not give any division (category), distinction (special ability) in the 10th and 12th board exams. If a candidate has given more than five subjects, then the decision to determine the best five subjects depends on the admission granting institution or employer. Also, percentage is not calculated by the board.

CBSE Marking System: No division or distinction will be given, the institution will decide the best five.

A senior CBSE official said on Friday that now no division (category) or distinction (special ability) will be given in the class 10th and 12th board examinations. CBSE controller of examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj said, “No overall category, special ability or total marks will be given. If a candidate has appeared in more than five subjects, the institution or employer giving him admission may decide to consider the best five subjects for him.

CBSE Marking System: Board does not calculate marks percentage

Sanyam Bhardwaj further said that the board does not calculate, announce or inform the percentage of marks. “If the marks percentage is necessary for higher education or employment, it can be calculated by the admission institution or employer,” he said. Earlier, CBSE had followed the practice of releasing the merit list with the aim of maintaining healthy competition. Has also finished. It is noteworthy that CBSE had released the marking scheme of 83 subjects for class 10th and 121 subjects for class 12th.

In class 10th, 20 marks have been fixed for internal assessment in five main subjects like English, Hindi, Maths, Science and Social Science. Whereas, if we talk about class 12th, 30 marks have been fixed for the practical exams of subjects like Geography, Psychology, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Physical Education.

The meeting of CBT i.e. Central Board of Trustees of Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) is going to be held on March 25-26 to fix the interest rate on PF for the current financial year 2022-23. The interest rates are decided every year during the board meeting in March.

The interest rate that was fixed for the last financial year i.e. 2021-22 was the lowest in 43 years. Last year, the interest rate on PF was reduced from 8.5 per cent to 8.1 per cent. There was no change in the rate of interest of PF in the financial year 2020-21. Just a year before this, the interest rate was reduced from 8.65 per cent to 8.5 per cent in 2019-20.

In March 2022, the CBDT i.e. Central Board of Trustees had recommended an interest rate of 8.1 per cent for over 6 crore active subscribers of EPFO for the financial year 2021-22, leaving an estimated surplus of Rs 450 crore. According to sources, EPFO can retain the current interest rate of 8.1 per cent. This can be done keeping in mind the potential for higher returns in equity investments.

New rules have come for withdrawing money from EPFO. The board has decided to change the EPS withdrawal rules. This is great news for those employees who want to withdraw money even after 6 months of service. The CBT has recommended the government to make necessary changes in the EPA-95 plan.

A new rule has come to withdraw money from EPFO, which is beneficial for you. It is also important for you to know this. The Central Board i.e. CBT has recommended to the government that changes should be made in the EPS withdrawal rules. This is great news for the employees who are going to retire in the next 6 months.

The CBT has recommended the government to make necessary changes in the EPA-95 plan. It is believed that when the retirement benefit is fixed, the retiring employees will get more benefits. On Monday, the Employee Provident Fund Organization has announced some new changes to withdraw money. According to the new rules, an employee can withdraw money even 6 months before retirement.

The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has announced a significant change on Monday. Now how can customers withdraw their savings amount? Employees Pension Scheme 1995 (EPS-95) deposits can now be withdrawn by subscribers even with less than six months service as per the decision taken by EPFO.

At present, only EPFO members who have less than six months of service left can withdraw the amount deposited in an employee’s provident fund account. The Central Board of Trustees in its 232nd meeting, chaired by Union Labor Minister Bhupendra Yadav, the highest decision-making body of EPFO, recommended changes to the existing EPS-95 scheme to the government. The board has advised the government regarding the extension of EPS withdrawal benefit to the members who are going to retire in six months.

The board has also suggested that the participants who have deposited the amount in the scheme for more than 34 years should be given proportionate pension benefits. As a result, when the retirement benefit is fixed, the retirees will get a higher pension.

According to the statement, the board has recommended that it is possible to determine the value of equitable transfer whenever exemption from EPS-95 is granted or cancelled. It has an exchange-traded fund (ETF) unit investment policy that has been approved. The board also gave its approval for transactions of ETF units purchased in 2018 to capture capital gains.

The documents authorized to submit this audit report to Parliament include audited annual accounts for the financial year 2020-21 as per the Employees’ Deposit Link Insurance (EDLI) Scheme 1976, EPS Scheme 1995 and EPF Scheme 1952.

Employees are going to get great news under the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). According to a report, the government may increase the limit of salary of employees. Which means, the employees whose salary is less than 15 thousand or 15 thousand rupees, then their salary limit will now be 21 thousand rupees. For example, if the salary of an EPF employee is 15 thousand rupees, then his salary will be 21 thousand rupees per month.

The proposed increase of the salary limit to Rs 21,000 per month has been endorsed by a committee, the report said. The committee has said that the government may implement the increase from a later date after deliberation. In such a situation, if the increase is accepted by the Central Board of Trustees of EPFO, then lakhs of employees will get a big relief.

According to a report in The Economic Times, once the proposal is implemented, an estimated 7.5 million additional workers will benefit from the scheme. At present, the central government pays about Rs 6,750 crore annually under the Employees’ Pension Scheme.

The report also said that any company with more than 20 employees must be registered with the EPFO and the EPF scheme has been made mandatory for all employees earning less than Rs 15,000. Along with this, it has also been told that workers more than the limit of Rs 21,000 will be brought under the purview of retirement scheme and the benefit of other social security scheme will also be given.

Explain that under the Employees’ Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952, EPFO provides social security benefits to the employees in the form of pension and insurance funds. As per the data, in January 2022, EPFO added 1.52 million employees on a net basis, which is an increase of over 21 per cent as compared to 1.26 million in December 2021.
