The metro network in the capital, Delhi, is no longer just a means of transportation, but has become the city’s lifeline. With each new phase, the metro is adding new dimensions to both speed and connectivity. In this regard, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has taken another major step.

Metro travel in the capital Delhi is about to enter a new phase. Carrying millions of passengers daily, the Delhi Metro is no longer just a means of transportation, but also a solution to the city’s traffic and pollution problems. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has taken a major step in this direction. Following the approval of Metro Phase 5A, the Central Secretariat Metro Station will be developed as the capital’s most important triple interchange metro hub. This will not only improve passenger connectivity but is also expected to reduce traffic pressure in Central Delhi.

Central Secretariat to become a super interchange

Currently, the Central Secretariat Metro Station serves as an interchange between the Yellow Line and the Violet Line. Approximately 200,000 passengers travel daily, while approximately 60,000 employees working in nearby ministries and government offices also rely on this station. Now, with the expansion of the Magenta Line under Phase 5A, this station will become a triple interchange.

Magenta Line to be extended

According to the DMRC, the Central Vista Corridor from RK Ashram to Indraprastha in Phase 5A has been approved. As part of this, the Magenta Line will be extended. Currently, Magenta Line passengers have to change metro lines to reach the Central Secretariat. However, after the extension, Magenta Line trains will also stop directly at this station. This will save passengers time and make travel more convenient.

Dependence on private vehicles will be reduced

The DMRC says interchange stations are built in strategic areas to encourage people to prefer public transport over private vehicles. A large number of government offices are located around the Central Secretariat, where thousands of people commute daily by car and two-wheelers. The addition of the Magenta Line will further strengthen metro access, potentially reducing private vehicle use and pollution.

The number of interchange stations will increase.

According to the DMRC, several new triple interchange stations will also be introduced under Metro Phase 4. Currently, there are 29 interchange stations in the Delhi Metro network. This number will increase to 43 upon completion of Phase 4, while the total number of interchange stations will increase to 46 with Phase 5A.

Delhi Metro Timings: An important update has come for those who travel by Delhi Metro every day. If you are also going to catch the metro from the Yellow Line on Saturday, then know that there may be some change in the timing of the metro tomorrow. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has issued an important information stating that metro services will not run regularly on the Kashmiri Gate to Central Secretariat section of the Yellow Line on the morning of 17 May (Saturday). This change in the schedule is being made due to maintenance work.

Metro train will run every 35 minutes

DMRC posted on X (formerly Twitter) that till 6:25 am, the metro will run on this section at an interval of 35 minutes. However, there is no change in the timing of the first metro from the terminal stations of the Yellow Line – Millennium City Centre Gurugram and Samaypur Badli.

Which stations will be affected?

Delhi Metro said in a social media post that this will affect the metro trains running between Kashmiri Gate and Central Secretariat, while the first trains from Samaypur Badli and Vishwavidyalaya will run on time. Apart from this, services will remain normal at other Yellow Line stations.

when will the first metro leave

DMRC also informed that the first metro train from Central Secretariat to Samaypur Badli will now depart at 05:55 am, instead of 05:45 am earlier.

You can try these options

DMRC has advised passengers that if you are traveling from stations like Kashmiri Gate, Central Secretariat or Mandi House, then choose Violet Line as an option. Apart from this, they should plan their journey in advance so that any inconvenience can be avoided.

The post Delhi Metro schedule has changed from today, one metro will be available every 35 minutes first appeared on Rightsofemployees.com.

Delhi Metro Timing Changed For Holi 2025: Holi festival will be celebrated across the country on March 14. On this day, people express happiness by applying color and gulal to each other.

Holi festival is celebrated every year on the full moon day of Falgun month. In view of the festival of Holi, the timing of Delhi Metro has also been changed. In such a situation, if you are planning to travel by metro anywhere on the day of Holi, then you must know about the changed timing of Delhi Metro. Metro train will run a little late on the day of Holi, the festival of colors. According to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, the metro train will run at 2:30 pm on Holi. Metro service will not be available before this. IGI Airport Express Metro Line has also been included in this.

According to DMRC, metro trains will be available on all lines after 2:30 pm. After this, passengers traveling by metro in Delhi will not have to face any kind of problems.

This metro timing has been scheduled by DMRC in view of the festival of Holi. Golden Line is also going to start soon in Delhi. This line will go from Aerocity to Tughlakabad.

It is often seen on the festival of Holi that many people try to create disturbance and chaos in a state of intoxication. Keeping this in mind, DMRC has decided to run the metro train late.

This decision has been taken keeping in mind the safety of the passengers traveling in Delhi Metro. Last year also, DMRC had changed the timing of the metro on the day of Holi. Apart from Delhi, the timing of the metro has been changed in many other cities on the day of Holi.

Delhi Metro is the largest metro in India. In the year 2002, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation i.e. DMRC was established for Delhi Metro. The first metro in Delhi ran on the Red Line. Delhi Metro now covers an area of 400 kilometers.

Delhi Metro is no less than a lifeline for the people of Delhi NCR. Every day lakhs of passengers travel through Delhi Metro.

DMRC i.e. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has made some rules for travelling in the metro. These rules have to be followed by the passengers travelling in Delhi Metro. If someone violates the rules, then DMRC takes action against these people and also imposes a fine. The highest fine is imposed for this mistake in Delhi Metro. Let us tell you.

The highest fine for using emergency alarm without any reason

DMRC has made many rules for passengers to travel in Delhi Metro. Passengers have to follow them. Along with that, Delhi Metro has also made some arrangements for the convenience of passengers inside the metro. If a passenger falls ill during the metro journey or any other incident occurs, then he can inform the metro driver by using the emergency alarm.

For this, an emergency alarm is set up inside the metro. Using this, the passenger can directly talk to the metro driver. But there are many people who are in a mood of fun and frolic in the metro and in such a situation they do such things. But misusing the emergency alarm can be very costly. DMRC imposes a fine of Rs 10,000 for doing this.

Apart from this, it looks fine

There are different fines for breaking different rules in Delhi Metro. A fine of Rs 50 has to be paid for travelling without a ticket. There is a fine of Rs 200 for sitting on the floor of the metro. A fine of Rs 200 is imposed for bringing or consuming alcohol in the metro. DMRC imposes a fine of Rs 200 for creating a ruckus, spitting, fighting in the metro. A fine of Rs 500 is imposed for obstructing an official in his duty. On the other hand, a fine of Rs 250 has to be paid if a male passenger boards a coach reserved for women.

Delhi Metro Rules : Metro is no less than a lifeline for the people of Delhi-NCR. In fact, lakhs of people travel by it every day. Especially people going to office travel a lot by it. If one has to come from Gurgaon to Noida or from Noida to Gurgaon, then people prefer to travel by metro only.

There are many reasons behind this, from fare to saving time. In such a situation, if you also travel by metro, then it is important for you to know which mistakes you should not make. Otherwise you can be fined. The first mistake in this is regarding the women’s coach. So let’s know about this.

Don’t go in the ladies coach

Actually, if you travel by metro, then know that the first coach in the direction of the train’s movement is reserved for women, that is, only women can travel in this coach. In such a situation, if a man is caught traveling in this coach, then he is fined.

Flying squads remain deployed

Flying squads are deployed at various places (many metro stations) on the metro route. This squad comprises of Central Industrial Security Force i.e. CISF, Delhi Metro Rail Police i.e. DMRP and DMRC personnel. This squad catches those people who are caught travelling in the women’s coach.

Why can’t men travel in women’s coach?

Actually, a few years ago, DMRC had decided that the first coach in the direction of the train’s movement would be reserved for women. This was done so that cases like molestation and misbehavior with women could be stopped inside the metro and women could travel without any problem and get a safe environment in the metro.

How much is the fine?

If a man is caught travelling in the women’s coach in the metro, then he is fined Rs 250 under the Delhi Metro i.e. O&M Act. So avoid travelling in the women’s coach.

You can contact on this helpline

At the same time, if women face any problem in the metro train or in the premises or want to report any misbehavior or any unauthorized entry, they can contact DMRC’s 24*7 helpline number 155370.

A news related to Delhi Metro is coming out. Passengers are not getting Smart Card to pay fare at Metro Stations. Due to which passengers traveling in Metro are facing problems. It is being said that instead of Smart Card at the stations, National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) is being given to the passengers. Many passengers traveling in Metro are not aware of this.

It is being said that the employees at the customer care counters of the stations tell that this card is no longer available, and even the passengers are being forcibly given the National Common Mobility Cards.

No recharge through vending machine

According to the passengers, this card cannot be recharged through the ticket vending machine, this card can be recharged only through Airtel Thanks app. It cannot be recharged even through UPI from any other app. The surprising thing is that there are no machines to validate the recharge of NCMC card.

Recharges of less than Rs 200 are not accepted at the customer care centre. In such a situation, those who are not smart phone users will face more difficulties.

DMRC denied the claims

However, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has denied all these claims. It also said that old smart cards are also being given on demand of passengers.

According to DMRC, there are three types of National Common Mobility Cards (NCMC Cards). First – Prepaid cards, which have a wallet, it is like a debit card. This card can be used in parking at all places including metro. Apart from this, DMRC said that fares of all metros and Ghaziabad-Meerut Regional Rapid Rail can also be paid through NCMC cards.

The second is a PPI card, which works in any metro across the country. While, the third is a debit card, which is available only to those with Airtel accounts.

Delhi Metro Luggage Rules: Lakhs of people travel in Delhi Metro every day. Many people prefer to travel in the metro to avoid long traffic jams. It is a very convenient means of travel.

The population in Delhi is continuously increasing. The main reason for this is the large scale arrival of people from the surrounding states in search of employment. Due to this, the number of passengers is also increasing continuously. In order to ensure that people do not face problems related to transportation in future, new metro lines are also being constructed at many places in Delhi NCR. If you travel in Delhi Metro, do you know how much weight of luggage you can carry with you in the metro? If not, then today we are going to tell you about this.

While travelling in Delhi Metro, you cannot carry luggage weighing more than 25 kg with you. This limit has been set for only one passenger.

Also Read: AADHAAR : Documents required for changing name in Aadhaar card, see documents list here

If a person travels in Delhi Metro carrying luggage more than the prescribed limit, then action can be taken against you if you are caught under the rules of Delhi Metro Railway Corporation. Apart from this, a fine can also be charged from you. Often many people ask whether one can drink tea or coffee while travelling in Delhi Metro. Tea and coffee are easily available at many shops at the metro station.

You should know that drinking tea and coffee while traveling in the metro is strictly prohibited. If you are caught drinking tea or coffee inside the metro, action can be taken against you under the rules of DMRC.

Delhi Metro on Amazon Pay: Every day around 60 lakh people travel in the country’s largest and busiest Delhi Metro. Some have to go to office, some to school.

Almost everyone, from young to old, uses the Delhi Metro to reach their destination. When such a large number of people travel, they also have to face some problems.

One such problem is the long queues at the metro station for tickets. Due to not having a metro card, people take a lot of time to get tickets. However, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has already provided QR code-based ticket system service to provide convenience to the people. Expanding it further, Amazon Pay has also been included in it.

You can also book tickets using Amazon Pay

To save people from the hassle, DMRC had introduced a QR code-based ticketing system, through which people can book tickets from their homes through apps like WhatsApp, Paytm, DMRC Momentum 2.0, One Delhi and Tummoc.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and Indian Railways have jointly given a gift to the passengers. Passengers booking tickets from IRCTC can now also book QR code tokens of Delhi Metro. Let us know about this facility..

Passengers traveling by both railways and metros in India are going to have a lot of fun. After the launch of the amazing facility of One India One Ticket, now tickets of both train and metro can be booked together many months in advance and the journey can be made very easy. IRCTC and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation have started this facility for passengers. Let’s know about it..

Indian Railways and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation keep introducing new facilities for the convenience of passengers. Now in this sequence, IRCTC and DMRC have jointly launched One India One Ticket. Let us tell you that this facility has been started in Delhi-NCR area to provide convenient travel to the passengers from the main line of the railway and the metro connected to it.

Under One India One Ticket, just like passengers book train tickets from IRCTC, now they will be able to book Delhi Metro tickets from IRCTC website or mobile app to reach home from the railway station at the same time. And the special thing is that this token with Delhi Metro QR code will be visible on the passenger’s online train ticket as soon as it is booked, so that one can travel in Delhi Metro with the QR code of the metro train recorded on it. In this way, after getting off the train, the passenger will not have to stand in a separate line to get a ticket in the metro. Rather, the journey will be easy with the same booked ticket.

Tickets can be booked 4 months in advance.

Information provided by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation said that these QR code based tickets of metro can be booked from IRCTC website up to 120 days in advance i.e. about 4 months in advance and will remain valid for the next 4 days. So that even if the train is getting delayed, this ticket does not go waste and passengers can avail its benefits.

This token with Delhi Metro’s QR code will be printed on the electronic slip
. This token will also be printed on the electronic reservation slip of IRCTC for the passenger. This will be based on one QR code for one passenger. Let us tell you that this is being done for the first time by the Center for Railway Information System, IRCTC and Metro. This will be of great benefit to the passengers. Its beta version has been launched. During this, IRCTC CMD Sanjay Kumar Jain, DMRC MD Vikas Kumar said that after the success of the beta version, its regular version will also be launched soon.

Till now this is the rule:

Till now single journey ticket in Delhi Metro can be booked only on the day of travel and it is valid for that day only. But now after this facility, if booked with railway ticket, then this ticket will be valid for 120 days. Not only this, the facility of ticket cancellation will also be flexible.

Delhi Metro-Airport Advisory: In view of the protest march called by various farmer organizations, the national capital Delhi has turned into a fort. There is heavy traffic jam in various parts of the city, especially from the border areas where police have put up barricades to stop farmers from coming to the capital. To ensure law and order, Delhi Police has already imposed Section 144. In such a situation, tractor trolleys and large gatherings have been banned.

Airport advisory

In view of the march towards Delhi on February 13, Delhi Airport has issued an advisory for passengers on Monday. The advisory urges passengers to plan their journey accordingly and stay updated about possible delays and alternative routes.

Passengers were asked to avoid road routes and use Delhi Metro for transportation. The airport recommends using the Magenta Line for Terminal 1 (T1) or the Airport Metro for Terminal 3 (T3) to ensure timely arrival and convenient transportation options.

Advisory regarding metro station

In view of the farmers’ march towards the national capital, at least one or more gates on any side were closed at nine stations of Delhi Metro on Tuesday morning. However, these stations are not closed and passengers are allowed to enter and exit except at other stations and closed exits.

On the instructions of police officials, the metro gates have been closed due to security arrangements. According to media reports, many gates of many stations, including stations like Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House, Central Secretariat, Patel Chowk, Udyog Bhawan, Janpath and Barakhamba Road, Lok Kalyan Marg, have been closed. A gate of Khan Market metro station was also closed on Tuesday.

Farmers march towards Delhi

The Punjab-Haryana border has been fortified. Farmers are being stopped from coming to Delhi. For this, there are complete preparations on the Delhi border also. After the meeting with two Union Ministers regarding their demands including legal guarantee of MSP for crops remained inconclusive, farmers started ‘Delhi Chalo’ march on Tuesday morning to get their demands met.

Many farmers started the march from Fatehgarh Sahib around 10 am with their tractor trolleys and are moving towards Delhi via Shambhu border. Another group is moving towards the national capital from Mehal Kalan in Sangrur through Khanauri border.

Authorities in Haryana have sealed the state’s borders with Punjab at several places in Ambala, Jind, Fatehabad, Kurukshetra and Sirsa, using concrete blocks, iron nails and barbed wire to thwart the proposed march.

Riot control vehicles including water cannons have also been deployed at many places on the Punjab and Haryana border. There is tension on the Shambhu border. The police have released tear gas shells there.

fight inside metro: Delhi Metro is once again in limelight. Two videos are going viral simultaneously on social media. In the first video, an argument between two women and a couple can be seen. On the other hand, seeing the second video, people grabbed their heads. Actually, two people started fighting with each other inside the metro train.

It can be seen in the viral video that the metro train is packed with passengers. Two men are fighting with each other in a moving train. Both are also seen scratching each other’s face. Both are kicking and punching each other. Seeing the tremendous fight, many passengers come forward to intervene. Just then the train stops at a station and a man who was fighting gets down from the train.

At the same time, another video is going viral on social media. In the video, two women are seen arguing with a couple. Women tell the couple that you should be ashamed, if there is more fire then go to the house. There is an argument between the couple and the women regarding this matter.

Delhi Metro commuters will now be able to travel on the Airport Line using the WhatsApp-based ticketing service launched on Tuesday.

Officials said that under this arrangement, passengers will be able to get ‘QR code’-based tickets directly on WhatsApp. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said, “Enhancing the travel experience of passengers through the digital medium, Delhi Metro today launched a WhatsApp-based ticketing service for travel on its Airport Express Line.”

DMRC Managing Director Vikas Kumar launched the service at Metro Bhawan here in the presence of other senior officials. With the launch of this facility, passengers on the airport line will now be able to use WhatsApp “chatbot generated QR code” based tickets from their smartphones.

DMRC said that this facility will facilitate seamless travel for passengers, especially national and international passengers, to or from the airport using the airport line. They can now buy and use tickets on their phones through a dedicated WhatsApp chatbot (available in English and Hindi languages).

This number will be added

He said that in order to start the service, commuters need to add DMRC’s official WhatsApp number 9650855800 to their phone’s contact list. Officials said that for single and group travel, a maximum of six “QR code”-based tickets can be generated for each passenger.

He said that the tickets will be valid till the end of the working day. However, once entered, passengers should exit the destination station within 65 minutes, he said. He said that passengers should leave within 30 minutes from the time of entry to exit the source (origin) station. Tickets cannot be booked after business hours. Cancellation of tickets is not allowed under this service.

DMRC will charge a nominal convenience fee for transactions done through credit or debit cards. No convenience fee will be charged for UPI-based transactions. Earlier this month, the DMRC introduced “QR code”-based paper tickets for travel on all lines.

During the journey in Delhi Metro, now you will be able to take advantage of 5G Mobile Networks in the next few days. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has started preparations to install 5G network equipment on the pillars of the corridor.

According to DMRC, it will be started from Samaypur Badli-Huda City Center route of Yellow Line Metro. There are a total of 37 stations on the 49 kilometer corridor from HUDA City Center to Samaypur Badli. 3 to 4 lakh passengers travel daily on this route. DMRC has divided the work of setting up 5G mobile network on pillars into three phases.

According to DMRC, the Samaypur Badli-Huda City Center route will be completed in the first phase from Samaypur Badli to GTB Nagar, from Saket to Arjangarh in the second phase and from Arjangarh to HUDA City Center in the third phase. Delhi Metro will install 5G mobile network equipment on 795 pillars of this route.

Work will be completed in three phases

DMRC has invited tender for installation of 5G network equipment. Instead of setting up 5G network, the telecom company will pay rent to DMRC. This rent will be charged per pillar. It has not been decided yet how much the rent will be. The fare will be decided only after the application of the telecom companies.

Delhi Metro has released the tender.

Delhi Metro’s Airport Line, which runs from New Delhi to Dwarka Sector 21, is being extended up to Dwarka Sector 25. 5G Network C facility is already available in the expansion area. This underground corridor is ready. Metro management has said that the installation of 5G equipment will not only benefit the passengers but also the people living around the station and the corridor. Along with this, the revenue of Metro will also increase.

Significantly, due to the G-20 conference in Delhi this year, many works are going to be done like high speed 5G network, beautiful roads, double decker buses, preparing better footpaths for commuting from metro stations to colonies. 5G network has already been enabled at IGI Airport. In such a situation, work has started on 5G network service in Delhi Metro as well. More than 5000 towers are being set up in Delhi for 5G network.

If you also start your day with the journey of Delhi Metro, then this news is useful for you. Passengers traveling in Delhi Metro will soon get rid of standing in long queues for token or smart card recharge.

Soon they will be able to pay metro fare by scanning the QR code from their bank’s debit or credit card and mobile phone. For this, the trial of National Common Mobility Card has been started at more than 50 metro stations. One or two new type automatic fare collection gates are being installed at all the stations. These have been installed at many stations including Jamia Nagar and Red Fort station.

The facility to buy tickets from QR-code was already available on the Airport Express line. But, there are some problems in this. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is trying to get away with the help of banks. Passengers are traveling on this line by scanning QR on mobile or by buying printed QR. Due to this, passengers do not need token and metro smart card.

The system will be fully implemented soon

DMRC is installing new AFCs at all metro stations to collect fare from the new system. Initially, NCMC facility will be provided at one or two gates. New gates are being installed at many other stations including Delhi Gate, Red Fort. At the same time, only old gates are being upgraded at some stations. By next year, passengers will start getting the benefit of NCMC on the entire network of Delhi Metro.

Rent discount

It is being told that those traveling through smart cards are being given concession in fare. Its purpose is to popularize NCMC among commuters. Metro passengers currently have to use tokens and smart cards to travel in the metro. With the implementation of NCMC, the option of paying rent through credit card, Rupay card, QR code, Android phone etc. will also be included.

Passengers traveling in Delhi Metro will soon get rid of standing in long queues for token or smart card recharge. Soon they will be able to pay metro fare by scanning QR code from their bank’s debit or credit card and mobile phone.

For this, the trial of National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) has been started at more than 50 metro stations. One or two new type Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) gates are being installed at all stations. These have been installed at many stations including Jamia Nagar and Red Fort stations.

The facility of taking tickets from QR-Code is already available on the Airport Express Line. But, there are some problems in this. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is trying to get away with the help of banks. Passengers are traveling on this line by scanning QR on mobile or by buying printed QR. Due to this, passengers do not need token and metro smart card.

The system will be fully implemented next year

DMRC is installing new AFCs at all metro stations to collect fare from the new system. Initially, NCMC facility will be provided at one or two gates. New gates are being installed at many other stations including Delhi Gate, Red Fort. At the same time, only old gates are being upgraded at some stations. By next year, passengers will start getting the benefit of NCMC on the entire network of Delhi Metro.

Discount in fare

Those traveling through smart cards are being given discount in fare. Its purpose is to popularize NCMC among commuters. Metro passengers currently have to use tokens and smart cards to travel in the metro. With the implementation of NCMC, the option of paying rent through credit card, Rupay card, QR code, Android phone etc. will also be included.

DMRC will save money

Due to the implementation of the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) system, the cost of creating a token or smart card of Delhi Metro will be saved. Due to the implementation of the facility of NCMC, Delhi Metro will not have to spend on smart cards. There will also be a reduction in the number of employees working at the token counter. DMRC will be able to use the savings from this elsewhere.

There is good news for Delhi Metro passengers. Now metro passengers will soon be able to use the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC). Actually, the work of technical change has been completed at the AFC gate of metro stations.

In the first phase, passengers will get this facility at 35 percent gates of the Delhi Metro network. After this, this facility will be available at all entry and exit gates. To increase convenience in public transport, work was done in the direction of NCMC on the initiative of the Center. Actually, NCMC was to be implemented in 2022 only. There are around 3,500 AFC gates in the Delhi Metro network.

Passengers will be able to use NCMC at 1,100 AFC gates in the first phase in April. Preparations for this have been completed. For the introduction of NCMC, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has tied up with banks for RuPay cards. Passengers will be able to use RuPay card as a ticket at any metro station.

Tender for buses has been put again.

It is worth noting that already on the Airport Express Line, passengers have the facility to travel by scanning the QR code. Now after the introduction of mobility card, apart from debit card, credit card, QR code, passengers will also be able to take tickets through mobile.

For this, its facility has been made available at all stations. At the same time, once again the tender has gone to Jalal to implement NCMC in buses. After the completion of the tender process, the National Common Mobility Card will also be started for buses. Let us tell you that due to this, passengers will have to use only one card to travel in metro or bus.

At present, due to non-availability of this facility, the passengers have to pay the fare for both the modes of transport repeatedly.

Delhi Metro Insta Reels: Lakhs of passengers travel daily in Delhi Metro . If you also travel, then this news is useful for you. Now you cannot make Insta Reels or short videos while traveling in Delhi Metro .

You may have to repent for doing this. There are many people and video content creators who make reels or other short videos while traveling in the metro. This causes problems for other people.

Recently DMRC has warned those traveling in Delhi Metro and making reels. DMRC has tweeted that do not record any video while traveling in Delhi Metro.

Delhi Metro has tweeted saying that the journey “travel, don’t create trouble” and has also shared a photo in which it is written that be a passenger in Delhi Metro, not a problem. It is further written on this that it is strictly prohibited to record reel, dance video or any such video inside Delhi Metro. This can cause trouble to the passengers.

मेट्रो में Travel करें
Trouble नहीं#DelhiMetro pic.twitter.com/heu0osoUSB

Let us tell you, this is not the first time that Delhi Metro has issued such a warning. Just last month in February, a similar message was given to the passengers by DMRC. For this message, DMRC used the popular song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from ‘RRR’ and wrote that dance is fun but Delhi Metro me na-nacho nacho nacho.

Delhi Metro: DMRC has made a new proposal regarding two metro stations of Delhi, Rajendra Place and Jhandewalan station. If this proposal is approved, then the people here will get all the facilities. When someone has to reach the office on time, then the time of metro is definitely late.

This situation is mostly seen on the Blue Line. To improve such conditions, DMRC has decided to change the look of Rajendra Place and Jhandewalan Metro Station of Delhi Metro Station. Now many facilities like footpath, cycle stand, pickup drop, cap point will be made available to the passengers outside these metro stations.

connectivity of blue line passengers will be better

According to DMRC, if all these facilities are available outside Rajendra Place and Jhandewalan metro stations, then the connectivity for the passengers of Blue Line will be better. Facilities like footpath, zebra crossing, cap pickup are included for passengers at Rajendra Place and Jhandewalan. At the same time, facilities like green area, e-charging station will be available in Rajendra Place.

Work will be done on the facilities of passengers

The load of passengers at these stations is also very high. That’s why this work will be done keeping in view the facilities of the passengers here. If DMRC officials are to be believed, in the coming time, proposals for many more stations have to be made and sent. But the first priority is for Rajendra Place and Jhandewalan Metro Station. As soon as its proposal comes, the work will be started within 1 month. So that the work is finished as soon as possible and facilities are provided to the passengers.

Delhi Metro is going to bring a new feature to make the journey of passengers more convenient. In fact, passengers used to face many problems in getting metro token and recharging the smart card again and again.

To overcome this problem and to make payment easier for the passengers, the automatic fare collection gate is now being updated in Delhi Metro. Let us tell you that about 70 percent of the people traveling in Delhi Metro use smart cards. At the same time, a large number of people travel through tokens as well.

Soon after the introduction of this facility, you will be able to travel in the metro without token or smart card. As a new option of payment, payment can be made through your ATM card or mobile phone.

This facility will start from March

Delhi Metro is preparing to start this service by the end of March. After the introduction of this new feature, you will be able to pay metro fare through mobile phone or debit card only. It is being said that in the first phase it will be started at three stations as a trial. After this, it will be extended to other stations in different phases. At present, this facility in Delhi Metro is available only on the Airport Express Line.

Now there will be a holiday for smart cards, now you will not always need to carry smart cards with you for traveling in metro. Now QR codes will be installed at the metro gate, which you will be able to pay the fare by scanning on the mobile phone. With the introduction of this new feature, changes will be made in the system and the fare will also be taken directly from the bank account of the passengers. Apart from this, passengers will also have the option of paying the fare through the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC).

Most smart cards fail to recharge. At present, passengers have to either take tokens or use smart cards to travel in the Delhi Metro. Smart cards have to be recharged again and again. In such a situation, many times the transactions fail due to which the passengers have to face many problems. Recharges done through UPI take a long time to process due to which passengers face problems. Now with the introduction of the new feature, there will be no compulsion for the passengers to recharge the smart card.

DMRC has given a big gift for the passengers traveling by metro in Delhi NCR. For the first time from today, the first set of 8-coach trains have been introduced on the route from Red Line i.e.

Rithala to Shaheed Sthal New Bus Adda. The number of coaches of all 39 trains on this route will be increased. Around 500 additional passengers will be able to travel with the first set introduced.

78 coaches will be added in 39 trains

DMRC has increased the number of coaches on the Red Line. A total of 78 coaches are planned to be added in 39 trains on this route of Delhi Metro. All these coaches have been procured from M/s Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML). DMRC said that this will make the journey of those traveling by metro easier.

More than 4.7 lakh passengers travel here every day

According to DMRC, this is one of the oldest routes of Delhi Metro, where the number of additional coaches has been increased. Red Line 4 serves 4.7 lakh passengers every day from the existing interchange stations Welcome, Kashmere Gate, Indralok and Netaji Subhash Place. In such a situation, increasing the number of coaches will help in reducing the congestion during the journey.

Work will be completed by 2024

These additional coaches will increase the carrying capacity of Red Line (Line-1), which was extended up to Shaheed Sthal New Bus Adda in Ghaziabad in the year 2019 and has a total length of about 34 km. The work of converting 6-coach trains to 8-coach trains on the Red Line is likely to be completed by 2024.

It is worth noting that last year, all the 6-coach trains were changed to Yellow Line (Line-2 i.e. Samaypur Badli to HUDA City Centre) and Blue Line (ie Line-3/4 Dwarka Sector-21 to Noida Electronic City and Vaishali) for 6. Successfully completed by adding additional coaches to its remaining fleet of coached trains.

How many trains are there near Delhi Metro?

The first 6-coach train service on the Delhi Metro network was started on the Red Line in the year 2013. Delhi Metro currently has a fleet of 336 train sets comprising of 176 trains.
