LPG Cylinder Price Cut 1 July 2025 : Modi government has given relief to the common people on 1 July. The government has reduced the price of LPG cylinders. The government has reduced the price of cylinders by Rs 58.50.

The government has reduced these prices on 19 kg commercial cylinders. However, there has been no change in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders i.e. 14.2 kg cylinders. The increase in the price of commercial cylinders will affect the business of hotels, restaurants and small businessmen.

Know the price of cylinder in major cities of the country

According to the list released on the website of Indian Oil, the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder has been reduced by Rs 58.50. However, there has been no change in the price of 14 kg domestic cylinder. In Delhi, this cylinder will now be available for Rs 1,665, whereas earlier its price was Rs 1,723.50. Similarly, in Mumbai, the price of this cylinder has come down from Rs 1,674.50 to Rs 1,616.

Kolkata: Rs 1,769 (earlier Rs 1,826)

Prices have come down several times in the year 2025

The prices of commercial gas cylinders have been continuously reduced for the last few months. The prices of cylinders were reduced in April, May and June 2025. Commercial LPG cylinders became cheaper by about Rs 41 in April, Rs 14.50 in May and Rs 24 in June. However, the price had increased by Rs 6 in March, but it was reduced by Rs 7 in February. Now in July also, the companies have given relief to the customers by reducing the price of the cylinder.

There was no change in the price of domestic cylinders

On one hand, the price of commercial cylinders has been reduced. On the other hand, there has been no change in the price of domestic gas cylinders. The price of domestic cylinder in Delhi is still Rs 853.

Mumbai: Rs 852.50

Lucknow: Rs 890.50

Patna: Rs 942.50

Hyderabad: Rs 905

Indore: Rs 881

Ghaziabad: Rs 850.50

Subsidy is given to the beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana

Under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY), about 10 crore families are given a subsidy of Rs 300 per cylinder. This amount is transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.
