Now after extension of 5 years, people will continue to get the benefits of this scheme till December 2028.

The Prime Minister said this

While addressing the public meeting, PM Modi said about the PM Garib Kalyan Yojana, I have decided that the BJP government will now extend the scheme of providing free ration to 80 crore poor people of the country for another 5 years.

DA Hike arrears: Waiting for the outstanding DA arrears of 18 months is still keeping the employees in the hope that the government can take a decision on it soon.

A new update has come regarding the pending DA arrears of central employees. According to media reports, the government can take a decision on this after Diwali. It is being said that the government can soon announce the payment of outstanding DA to the employees. However, nothing has been said about this officially from the government yet.

If the news is to be believed, then if the matter is made on the arrears, then a lump sum arrear of 11 percent will be given. The employees will get the DA arrear money according to their salary band.

Diwali Gift
In September, the government has increased the DA of central employees by giving them a big festive gift before Diwali. In the meeting of the Union Cabinet, a four percent increase in the Dearness Allowance of the employees was approved. After this, the DA they get has increased from 34 per cent to 38 per cent.

The benefit of this increased DA will be given to the employees from July 1, 2022. That is, there will be a big increase in the salary they get on Diwali.

DA arrears stopped in the era of Corona
The DA Arrears of central employees from January 2020 to June 2021 are pending. It is noteworthy that the government had stopped the DA of employees for 18 months during the outbreak of Kovid-19 epidemic in the country. Now that the outbreak of Corona is almost over and all the restrictions applicable to it have been removed.

The post DA increased arrears: 18 months of outstanding DA arrears will have to wait now, see arrears update first appeared on Rightsofemployees.com.

The decision to increase the dearness allowance of Delhi government employees is according to the decision of the central government.

According to an official order, the Finance of the Delhi Government has sent instructions to their respective departments and autonomous bodies to approve the increase in dearness allowance.

Let us tell you that before the festive season, the Central Government had approved a 4 percent increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) of its employees on 28 September. This hike will be applicable from the retrospective date of 1st July 2022.

This decision of the central government benefited 41.85 lakh central government employees and 69.76 lakh pensioners. Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur said that due to both DA and DR, there will be an additional burden of ₹12,852.5 crore annually on the exchequer.

Karnataka also increased dearness allowance by 3.75%

Meanwhile, the Karnataka government on Friday approved an increase of 3.75 percent in the dearness allowance of its employees. Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai gave this information. At present, the Karnataka government employees get dearness allowance of 27.25 percent of their basic pay, which has now increased to 31 percent.
