It is being said that the government can soon announce the payment of outstanding DA to the employees. However, nothing has been said about this officially from the government yet.
If the news is to be believed, then if the matter is made on the arrears, then a lump sum arrear of 11 percent will be given. The employees will get the DA arrear money according to their salary band.
Diwali Gift
In September, the government has increased the DA of central employees by giving them a big festive gift before Diwali. In the meeting of the Union Cabinet, a four percent increase in the Dearness Allowance of the employees was approved. After this, the DA they get has increased from 34 per cent to 38 per cent.
The benefit of this increased DA will be given to the employees from July 1, 2022. That is, there will be a big increase in the salary they get on Diwali.
DA arrears stopped in the era of Corona
The DA Arrears of central employees from January 2020 to June 2021 are pending. It is noteworthy that the government had stopped the DA of employees for 18 months during the outbreak of Kovid-19 epidemic in the country.
