As reported by Zee News, the CPPS acts as a digital backbone, automating complex monthly pension calculations and making the entire arrears settlement process far more efficient. 50% of the remaining arrears will be paid this month

50% of the remaining arrears amount will be paid to them this month. Notification has been issued for this. In the office order issued by the Finance Department, it has been clarified that 50% of the remaining arrears will be given to pensioners and family pensioners who complete the age of 70 years or more in June 2025. This arrears will be paid in June 2025.

After this order issued by the Himachal government, the total arrears of pensioners and family pensioners category will be paid up to 70%. The order states that the pension disbursing authority and the bank will ensure that the payment is made only after any kind of recovery and the age limit of 70 years is followed as per the cutoff of June 2025.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh had announced in his budget speech this year that pension arrears before 2016 for senior citizens aged 70 years and above will be paid in the month of June. After this announcement, an office order has now been issued.
