Pension Arrears There is good news for the pensioners of the state. The announcement made by the Chief Minister in the budget has finally been fulfilled. Pensioners above 70 years of age will be paid the remaining arrears amount.

50% of the remaining arrears amount will be paid to them this month. Notification has been issued for this. In the office order issued by the Finance Department, it has been clarified that 50% of the remaining arrears will be given to pensioners and family pensioners who complete the age of 70 years or more in June 2025. This arrears will be paid in June 2025.
70% of total arrears paid for pensioners and family pensioners category
After this order issued by the Himachal government, the total arrears of pensioners and family pensioners category will be paid up to 70%. The order states that the pension disbursing authority and the bank will ensure that the payment is made only after any kind of recovery and the age limit of 70 years is followed as per the cutoff of June 2025.
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh had announced in his budget speech this year that pension arrears before 2016 for senior citizens aged 70 years and above will be paid in the month of June. After this announcement, an office order has now been issued.
