The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) is constantly taking steps to provide convenience to its contributors. After speeding up claim settlement, EPFO is now working on a plan to withdraw PF money from ATMs.

In such a situation, if you have raised a claim to withdraw money from your PF account for any need or are preparing to do so, then this question will definitely come to your mind that when will you get the money after the claim? Let us tell you that according to the official website of EPFO (Employees’ Provident Fund Organization), all claims made under auto-settlement mode, which has no manual, will be settled digitally within 3 days or 72 hours. Let us tell you that claims to withdraw money from PF for treatment of illness, education of children, marriage and buying a house come under auto-settlement.

Manual settlement may take time

If you have made a manual claim to withdraw money from your PF, then it may take 15 to 30 days for its settlement. However, if your claim is not settled within 20 days, you can contact EPFO’s helpline number 1800-180-1425 or file a complaint on the EPFO website.

You can withdraw money up to Rs 5 lakh

Let us tell you that EPFO has increased the amount of auto-settlement mode from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh to provide relief to its subscribers. According to EPFO, money can be withdrawn from PF account for purchase of house/flat/construction of house, which also includes acquisition of land. If an employee has not received salary for more than 2 months continuously, then he can also withdraw money from PF.

The post EPF Claim Settlement: How Many Days for Money to be Credited to Your Account? first appeared on Rightsofemployees.com.

EPFO: If you are planning to withdraw money from your Provident Fund (EPF) account, then there is good news for you. Now no document will be required to withdraw money from EPFO. The central government has given clear information about this in the Parliament and this rule is already in force.

Now only self declaration is enough

In response to a question asked in Parliament, the Ministry of Labor and Employment said that if EPFO members want to withdraw money for needs like education, marriage, buying a house, illness or emergency, then they will no longer have to submit any document. Money can be withdrawn only on the basis of self-declaration.

MPs raised questions

Lok Sabha MPs Vijaykumar Vijay Vasanth, Manickam Tagore B and Suresh Kumar Shetkar had raised the question as to why the EPFO has started relying solely on self-declaration of employees for partial withdrawal? To this, the government replied that this step has been taken to make the process easy, transparent and reliable.

The process started in 2017

The government said that this change was implemented through the composite claim form introduced in 2017. Under this, EPFO simplified the process of partial and final withdrawal and relied on self-declaration of members by eliminating the need for documents.

Problems related to banks will also be solved

Many times the claims of the members were rejected because they uploaded poor quality photos of the bank passbook or cheque. Now this problem has also been resolved. The requirement to upload the image of the cheque or passbook has been removed from April 3, 2025. This has reduced the problems faced in KYC or bank account verification to a great extent.

More than 1.9 crore people got benefit

The government said that more than 1.9 crore EPF members have benefited from this new process since July 22, 2025. This change is an important step towards making EPFO claims simple and reliable.

Provident Fund: Provident Fund money will be in your hands in just a few minutes. Now no form will have to be filled to withdraw PF advance money. There will be no long wait of 5 to 15 days. PF money can be withdrawn through ATM or UPI. In times of emergency, your money will be with you in a few minutes. The government can do the process of withdrawing PF advance so easily this month i.e. in June. The biggest advantage of the new system will be that the long process of filling the form and getting approval to withdraw PF money will end. It will be easy to withdraw PF money at any time and from anywhere.

EPFO will upgrade the system

There is good news for crores of salaried employees of the country. Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) is preparing to upgrade its digital system to a new form. According to media reports, EPFO 3.0 can be launched from June 2025. The most special thing about this new facility is that PF account holders will also be able to withdraw their funds through UPI and ATM.

What is EPFO 3.0?

EPFO 3.0 is a digital version of the existing PF system which is faster, easier and safer than the old system. Till now, to withdraw PF, one has to login to the EPFO website, fill the form and then wait for several days. But with the arrival of EPFO 3.0, there may be a facility to withdraw money in real time.

How will you be able to withdraw money from ATM and UPI?

Although complete information about this has not been revealed at the moment, it is believed that under EPFO 3.0, PF accounts will be linked to UPI and ATM networks. With this, customers will be able to withdraw money directly from their account with the help of UPI apps like PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm etc. or ATM machine. For this, there may be safety features like OTP, PIN or Aadhaar based verification. Also, some terms and limits will also be fixed so that the funds are not misused. Money can also be saved for employees for retirement.

What will be the benefits of digital withdrawal?

The biggest advantage of the new system will be that the long process of filling the form and getting approval to withdraw PF money will end. It will be easy to withdraw PF money anytime and from anywhere. This will be useful for employees in times of emergency.

Will EPFO 3.0 be launched in June?

EPFO 3.0 can be launched in June 2025. However, the official date has not been decided yet. It is expected that it will be started as a pilot project in some cities or states first and then gradually implemented across the country. If this happens, then more than 6 crore PF account holders of the country will get direct benefit from it.

The post PF withdrawal: Now PF money will be withdrawn in minutes, the government will make this big change this month first appeared on Rightsofemployees.com.

EPFO ATM Withdrawal: This is important news for the employees of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). EPFO is soon going to launch its new and advanced service EPFO 3.0.

The purpose of launching the new system is to make the access of facilities easier and better to the members. After the launch of EPFO 3.0 system, EPFO users will also be able to withdraw PF funds from ATM and UPI. Apart from this, many facilities like account correction, auto-claim settlement and grievance redressal will be available digitally.

When will the facility be launched

In fact, Union Labor and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has already said that the EPFO 3.0 platform will be launched between May and June 2025. The purpose of this new system is to provide better and faster services to more than 9 crore EPF account holders. In such a situation, there is every possibility of its launch in the month of June.

Know how much money you can withdraw

At present, it takes about 10 to 15 days for members to withdraw PF funds. However, after the introduction of ATM and UPI facility, this will be a matter of minutes. However, only up to Rs 1 lakh can be withdrawn through ATM and UPI. This will save employees from going through a long process and will also save time. Apart from this, efforts have also been made to speed up the process of claim settlement under the new system. Now many types of claims will be settled automatically, which will reduce dependence on manual process.

EPFO will issue withdrawal card

The Employees Provident Fund Organization will issue EPF withdrawal card to the employees to provide ATM withdrawal facility. Through this card, they will be able to avail facilities like balance check, cash withdrawal just like debit card and credit card.

You will be able to easily correct your account details

At the same time, under the EPFO 3.0 system, members will be able to immediately correct the errors in their accounts through online medium. This includes the employee’s name, date of birth, mobile number, permanent address. There will be a facility of OTP verification for this. Due to which the need to fill the old form will be eliminated. Apart from this, EPFO is also improving its complaint system under the new system. In such a situation, now the complaints can be resolved as soon as possible.

However, in some circumstances, you can withdraw money from PF even earlier. Today we will talk about these circumstances in detail.

All the work related to PF is controlled by EPFO (Employee Provident Fund Organisation). Often we need a lump sum amount of money for small works.

In such a situation, we take the help of loan. But on taking a loan, you have to pay interest along with the principal amount.

If you also want to avoid a loan in such situations, then you can opt for EPF. The money deposited in EPF can be withdrawn under certain circumstances.

Under what circumstances can you withdraw money?

The money deposited in EPF or PF can be withdrawn under 10 different circumstances. These include higher education of a child, buying a house, emergency, loss of job, etc. Let us talk about these one by one.

Evacuation is possible in case of emergency

If there is a medical emergency in someone’s family, then in such a situation a request can be made for withdrawal of money from PF. You can withdraw this money for your child, wife or husband, parents. At the same time, you do not need to fulfill the condition of depositing for 7 years for this.

Money is also available for marriage

If a person is planning to get married, then money is available for this also from PF. But for this, you have to deposit money in EPF for 7 years. In such a situation, you can withdraw only 50 percent of the deposited money. This 50 percent is the maximum limit for withdrawing money.

You can also withdraw money for higher education

If you want to send your child abroad for higher education, or a lot of money is being spent on his/her education, then you can withdraw money from EPF. Keep in mind that you can withdraw only 3 times for expenses like marriage and higher education.

On being disabled

If a person becomes disabled due to an accident, then withdrawal is possible in such a situation as well. In this, you can withdraw up to 6 months’ basic salary and DA. However, you can withdraw this money only once in 3 years.

On losing a job

If a person is not working for 2 months or is not getting salary, then he can withdraw money. Apart from this, if an employee disagrees with the company’s decision to fire him and challenges it in court, then also withdrawal can happen.

Withdrawal can be made even if the company is closed for 15 days or more. In this way, you can withdraw from PF or EPF before retirement. However, a limit has been set for this withdrawal as well. So that the fund is not affected much in the future.

EPF Claim: For salaried employees in India, PF is not only a support after retirement, but also a support in times of emergency. If you suddenly need money, you can also use PF money.

But many times it happens that there is a lot of difficulty in withdrawing PF money at the time of need. Today, through this news, we are going to tell you how you can withdraw PF money on time without any hassle.

Keep your KYC updated

According to EPFO, withdrawing PF money is very easy. Just fill the correct form and keep your KYC updated and you will get the money within 7 to 15 days. But sometimes this process is not so easy and you have to wait for months to withdraw the money. Just because of one small mistake of yours.

Why is there a delay?

According to Para 69 of EPF Scheme 1952, funds should be received on time if all documents are correct. But in reality many people have to wait for months. The reason behind this is that even a minor mistake in Aadhaar, PAN, bank account or employer’s records can stop the entire process. According to media reports, if there is a mistake in Aadhaar, bank details or exit date, then the claim process does not proceed. The biggest problem is that the employer has just updated the exit date on the EPFO portal.

There are three main forms for withdrawing PF.

Form 19 is used to withdraw PF money.

Form 10C can be used if the service is less than 10 years and pension has to be withdrawn.

Form 10D can be used if you have served for more than 10 years and want monthly pension.

Form 10C

Many people often do not know whether they should withdraw lump sum or start pension. Many times people above 60 years of age fill Form 10C, whereas they should fill 10D.

What to do if PF claim gets stuck

If your PF claim gets stuck, you will first have to complain on the EPFO Grievance Portal. Or you can contact the Regional PF Commissioner,

Keep these things in mind before claiming PF

Before claiming PF, check the status of KYC, e-Nomination on the EPFO portal. Confirm with the employer that the exit date has been updated. Verify the details of Aadhaar, PAN card, bank account. If you do not understand the form, select Composite Claim Form.

Hyderabad: There is a great news for PF account holders. Now they will not have to face much trouble to withdraw money from PF account. Rather, now they can withdraw PF money through UPI.

The government is working on making such a system. This facility can be started in the next two to three months.

According to sources, EPFO is taking this step for the convenience of its subscribers. With the integration of EPF with UPI, subscribers can withdraw money from their PF account through a digital wallet. The Labor Ministry is making changes in the digital systems of EPFO in collaboration with commercial banks and RBI. Its purpose is to simplify the withdrawal process and improve user experience. Experts say that this facility will be very convenient for members living in remote areas.

What is in the new system?

It is said that EPFO is taking such a step for its account holders. At the same time, the government is working on such a system in which EPFO account holders will be able to process their claims through UPI. As a result, the process of transferring funds will become easier as well as faster. According to the report of Financial Express, EPFO has prepared a blueprint for this and discussions are going on with the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI).

After the facility of withdrawing PF money through UPI is introduced, account holders will not have to face a long process to withdraw money from their PF account.

This facility can prove to be very useful especially for account holders living in remote areas.

Withdrawing money from PF account through digital wallet will become simple and safe.

Transformation into the digital system of EPFO

Transformation into the digital system of EPFO is being done in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor, commercial banks and RBI. Its purpose is to simplify the withdrawal process as well as improve user experience.

Changes in investment methods

EPFO is also preparing to change the method of investment. According to reports, investment in debt instruments can be reduced from 20 percent to 10 percent. For this, the Labor Ministry will take approval from the Finance Ministry. The main reason for this is the low returns and supply of public sector bonds.

After this change, EPFO will be able to invest more in corporate bonds, which give higher returns.

This proposal was approved in the meeting of the Central Board of Trustees of EPFO in November 2024.

This change will affect the retirement savings of more than 7 crore EPFO account holders.

E- Wallet PF Withdrawal: Most of the employed people in India have PF accounts. You are also given interest on the amount deposited in it.

If needed, you can also use the amount present in your PF account, for this you get the facility of online claim from the Employees Provident Fund Organization i.e. EPFO. After making an online claim, the claim money reaches your PF account linked bank account within 7 to 10 days.

But now EPFO is going to start a new facility for PF account holders under which you will be able to use online claim very soon through e-wallet. How can you withdraw PF money from e-wallet, what will be the limit for this, let us tell you.

Money will be withdrawn from e-wallet

The government is now planning to start a new facility for the beneficiaries of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) and Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC). In fact, to make the withdrawal process easier for PF account holders, the Government of India is now thinking of starting the facility of e-wallet. Talking about this, Labor Secretary of the Government of India, Sumita Dawra, said that discussions have started with banks and RBI for this.

And soon a plan will be prepared for this scheme. At present, PF account holders have to make an online claim to withdraw money. After which the money reaches the bank account within 7 to 10 days. Apart from this, the government is also preparing to provide the facility of withdrawing money from PF account from ATM from next year.

What will be the withdrawal limit?

After the introduction of the e-wallet facility, the PF claim money of any Employee Provident Fund Organization and Employee State Insurance Corporation beneficiaries will be directly transferred to their e-wallet. However, how will this facility work? Whether a separate option will be provided for this on the EPFO site or PF accounts will be linked to the bank’s e-wallet, information about this has not been revealed yet. At the same time, it is also not clear at present how much limit can be withdrawn from PF accounts through e-wallet.

PF Money From ATM: Recently there was news that soon there will be a facility to withdraw EPFO money from ATM. It is believed that this facility will be restored from next year.

After this, under the scheme of withdrawing money from EPFO, Provident Fund members or customers will be able to get banking like facilities. Now the question is whether you will be able to withdraw your entire PF money from ATM? Actually, you will be able to withdraw only 50 percent of the total deposit amount of your Provident Fund from a card like ATM. In this way, you will not be able to withdraw your entire PF money from ATM.

Nominee of deceased EPFO member will be able to withdraw money from ATM

In fact, members whose average monthly salary is more than Rs 15,000 can get up to Rs 7 lakh from their PF account. Apart from this, those whose average monthly income is less than Rs 15,000 can be given the facility to withdraw up to Rs 5.5 lakh from ATM.

Union Labor Secretary Sumita Dawra said that the nominee of the deceased EPFO member will also be able to withdraw the claim amount of his Employee Deposit Linked Insurance (EDLI) through ATM. Employers contribute to this insurance scheme.

A dedicated card will be issued for withdrawing PF amount from ATM

At the same time, it is believed that a dedicated card can be issued to withdraw PF amount from ATM. According to Union Labor Secretary Sumita Dawra, hardware will be updated for this. Also, a new system can be started. Currently, EPFO members have to wait for 7 to 10 days for settlement of claims.

New Delhi. Withdrawing money from Provident Fund is going to be as convenient as withdrawing money from your bank account. The government is going to make a big change in the system related to Provident Fund.

According to a report by CNBC-Awaaz, the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) is going to make radical changes in the PM account withdrawal process. EPFO will provide an ATM card to the PF holder just like banks. Money can be withdrawn with the help of this ATM. That means there will be no hassle of filling forms and no need to visit the office. The government is also considering abolishing the limit of PF contribution and increasing the PF limit under EPFO 3.0 version.

This facility will not be available at all ATMs. Under this facility, EPFO will tie up with select banks. These ATM cards can be used only in those ATMs with which EPFO has an agreement. This scheme can be implemented by May-June 2025. This new facility will be a big relief for PF account holders, allowing them to easily access their funds and also improve their pension. Currently, EPF members have to wait for 7 to 10 days to transfer the withdrawal amount to their bank account linked to the EPF account. This happens after completing all the withdrawal formalities and submitting the required documents to the EPFO.

Preparations are also being made to change the pension scheme

The government is also planning to remove the current limit of 12% of employee contribution in PF. Now employees will be able to contribute more as per their wish, which will also increase their pension. The money for higher contribution will go to EPS (Employees Pension Scheme), which will provide more pension in future.

There is also a consideration on increasing the salary limit. Currently, the wage ceiling for PF is Rs 15,000, which is being considered to be increased. Employees earning more than this salary will also get the benefit of this scheme. Along with this, the government is also planning to implement PAN 2.0. Now the new PAN card will come directly on the e-mail, which will make the process of making PAN fast and simple.

How to withdraw money from PF: PF money is deposited for retirement fund and pension. But under certain circumstances, you can make partial and full withdrawal from your PF account.

Before retirement, generally the entire EPF amount can be withdrawn only if you are unemployed for two months or more. Let us know under what circumstances you can make partial withdrawal from PF account and what is its process.

Partial withdrawal can be done under these circumstances

Medical Requirements

marriage of self or child

To pay off home loan

to buy a house

to renovate the house

For most of these partial withdrawals, the EPFO member must be an EPF member for a minimum of five or seven years.

This is the process of partial withdrawal from PF

Step 1. You need to visit the UAN portal and enter your UAN number and password.

Step 2. You will receive an OTP on your mobile number linked to Aadhaar. Enter this OTP and captcha.

Step 3. Your profile page will open. In the upper right part of the web page, you will find the “Online Services” option. Now click on ‘Claim’ from the scroll down options.

Step 4. Now you have to verify the member details by entering the bank account number linked to EPFO.

Step 5. Now a Certificate of Undertaking will be received stating that the claimed amount will be credited to this bank account by EPFO. Now you have to click ‘Yes’ for the terms and conditions.

Step 6. Now you can proceed for online claim. As soon as you click on this option, a section will open, in which you have to enter more details.

Step 7. Here you have to tell your address and also upload some documents like scanned cheque and Form 15G. In this way, the claim will be submitted to withdraw the balance of EPF account.

This is how you can find out your PF account balance

You can also check your PF account balance through SMS. You can also check your EPF account balance and the latest contribution to your account by sending an SMS to 7738299899. For this, you have to type AN EPFOHO ENG from your registered number and send the message. ENG here represents English. If you want to know in another language, then write the first three letters of that language.

In India, cases of fraud by companies regarding the Provident Fund (PF) money of employees are increasing. Recently, a case was registered against SpiceJet officials for not depositing the PF money of employees in their accounts.

To curb such cases, the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) is going to introduce a new system soon. Under this new system, as soon as money is deposited in the PF account of the employee, he will get information about it in real-time through SMS.

SMS alert will stop fraud

Many companies deduct PF money from the salary of employees but do not deposit it in the PF account. This causes huge loss to the employees and EPFO has to face complaints. With the new SMS alert service, employees will be able to know every month whether their PF money has been deposited on time or not. This will stop embezzlement of money by companies.

How to check PF balance?

EPFO has provided several facilities to know PF balance:

Visit the website: Log in to the EPF passbook portal with UAN and password and view the passbook.

Use the Umang app : You can check your balance by going to the EPFO option on the Umang app.

Missed call: You can get balance information by giving a missed call from the registered number to 011-22901406.

SMS : Send EPFOHO UAN HIN (language) to 7738299899 and get balance information.
This new system will prove to be an important step for the security and transparency of the PF money of the employees.

In case a working person becomes unemployed then he can get money if he remains unemployed for two months.

If the employed person dies before the retirement age, this money can be recovered.

EPFO Employees Provident Fund : More than 6 crore PF account holders of the country have been waiting for the interest received on their Employee Provident Fund (EPF) for a long time.

The government has also presented the budget 2023 but no official announcement has been made regarding the transfer of interest money. Till now the interest money of PF of the employees has not come in the EPF account. Many subscribers are asking EPFO on Twitter to transfer interest to them. If media reports are to be believed then the interest money on PF can come at the end of February i.e. before Holi.

Interest money did not come on EPF

If we look at the record before this, last time the interest money came around Diwali in 2021, but this time even after the year 2022, the interest money of the previous year has not come yet.

When will interest money come on pf

EPFO can transfer interest money on PF by the end of February. It is believed that the employees may get good news before Holi. Interest money has not come in the PF account, due to which people are asking questions on the official Twitter account of EPFO that when will their PF money come.

why is there delay

The PF account holder hopes that the Modi government will soon transfer the interest money to their PF account. Actually, interest money on PF is received after a very long process, due to which there is delay. All 6 crore PF account holders do not get interest money at once. This time the account holders have to get interest on PF at the rate of 8.1 percent.

With some conditions on the PF account, you have the exemption that you can withdraw money even earlier, but you should know whether you will have to pay tax on EPF Withdrawal or not.

The Provident Fund scheme run by EPFO is one of the biggest investment tools to build retirement corpus. Salaried employees have to deposit PF money from their salary, and in this along with the contribution of the employee, your money keeps on investing in this government scheme.

Technically this is your retirement fund, which you can completely withdraw after one age. However, with some conditions, you have the exemption that you can withdraw money from your PF account even earlier, but you should know whether you will have to pay tax on EPF withdrawal or not.

Let us know some such conditions where you have to pay tax on withdrawing money from EPF-

1. Withdraw money before 5 years

If you withdraw money from the PF account before the completion of five years of contribution, then you have to pay TDS on it. For this, you must be in service for 5 consecutive years. In this, both the new and old employers have a count regarding your tenure. If you transfer your EPF balance from the old employer to the new employer after completion of five years or more, then TDS is not deducted on your fund.

2. The job has been temporary in these five years

If you have been working on contract somewhere within five years, then your PF will not be credited, your employer does not have to contribute to your PF. But let’s say that after some time you become permanent in the job and your PF starts deducting. You leave this job after completing 5 years. And now if you have to transfer your EPF balance elsewhere, then it will be taxed because, out of the five years you have completed, you have spent some part of it in a temporary position.

3. Your fund is not recognized

A Provident Fund that has not received approval from the Commissioner of Income Tax is considered invalid for tax exemption. It may have been approved by the Provident Fund or any other institution, but you need approval from the Income Tax Commissioner to get the exemption on withdrawal after 5 years. If you are a member of URPF, then your withdrawal is taxed whether you have completed five years or not.

Understand taxability from the chart

1. Withdraw less than Rs.50,000 before completing 5 consecutive years in service

TDS will not be deducted, but if the person falls in the taxable bracket, then he will have to show the EPF withdrawal in his return of income.

2. If you withdraw more than Rs 50,000 before completing 5 consecutive years in service

10% TDS will be deducted on giving PAN. That too will not be deducted on submitting Form 15G/15H.

Great news is going to come by the end of this month for 7 crore subscribers of Employees’ Provident Fund Organization ie EPFO. The government is going to transfer the interest for the financial year 2022 to the account of EPF account holders.

Let us tell you that this time interest will be available at the rate of 8.1 percent. According to the information received so far, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization has calculated the interest received in the PF account in the financial year 2022. Soon it will be transferred to the account of the account holders. This time a total of Rs 72,000 crore deposited in the account of the government will be sent to the account of the employed.

When will the money be transferred?

It is worth noting that last year people had to wait 6 to 8 months for interest. But, last year due to Kovid, the atmosphere was different. This year the government will not delay. According to media reports, interest money can be transferred to the account by the end of this month. This year’s interest is at the lowest level in 40 years.

The calculation of interest is quite simple

If you have Rs 10 lakh in your PF account then you will get Rs 81,000 as interest.
If you have Rs 7 lakh in your PF account, you will get Rs 56,700 as interest.
If you have Rs 5 lakh in your PF account, then Rs 40,500 will come as interest.
If you have one lakh rupees in your account, then 8,100 rupees will come.

1. Know Balance from Missed Call

To check your PF money, you have to give a missed call on 011-22901406 from your registered mobile number. After this, you will get the details of PF through the message of EPFO. Here also it is necessary to have your UAN, PAN and Aadhaar linked.

New Labor Code: If you are an employee then it is very important for you to read this news. From now on, men and women will get equal pay. During which PF money will be deducted more. The central government wants all the states to implement the new labor code simultaneously. After the implementation of the new wage code, read the full news to know whether the take home salary i.e. in hand salary will come in your account less than before or more.

The Central Government is preparing to implement the New Labor Code in the country. The government is preparing to implement new rules to change the working life of the employed people. However, when will the new labor code be implemented in the country? Nothing is clear on this yet. But it is certain that it will be implemented. After the implementation of the new code, there will be a change in the salary of the salaried people from Weekly Off.

Companies may have to change their working strategy. Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently said that flexible work places and flexible working hours are the needs of the future.

The central government wants all the states to implement the new labor code simultaneously. This concept is being brought to balance between people’s personal life and work. The four new codes are related to the new Labor Code Wage, Social Security, Industrial Relations and Occupational Safety.

Discussion on 3 days leave-

The most talked about change after the implementation of the new labor code is the three-day weekly off. There is a provision of work for three and four days in the new labor code. However, the working hours will increase. After the implementation of the new labor code, you will have to work 12 hours in the office. In total, you will have to work 48 hours in a week. After this you will get three days weekly off.

Apart from this, there will also be a big change regarding the holidays. Earlier, it was necessary to work at least 240 days in a year to take long-term leave in any institution. But under the new labor code, you were required to work for 180 days. But under the new labor code, you will be able to take long leave after working for 180 days (6 months).

In hand salary will come down-

After the implementation of the new wage code, take home salary i.e. in hand salary will be less in your account than before. The government has made a provision in the new rule that the basic salary of any employee should be 50 percent or more of his total salary (CTC). If your basic salary is higher, then PF contribution will increase. With this provision of the government, employees will get a hefty amount at the time of retirement. Along with this, the Gratuity money will also get more. This will make their future financially strong.

Equal wages for men and women

Union Labor Minister Bhupendra Yadav recently said that we have rationalized the old laws and considered occupational safety and wage standards to ensure fair wages for both men and women. He said that 29 different Acts have been converted into four new labor codes.

This amount has to be deposited within 15 days of getting salary. Whenever the amount is remitted, an alert is sent in the form of a message to the employees. You can also check the balance by logging on to the EPFO website.

If your PF money is deducted and you have not received the message and update in any way and you feel that PF money has been deducted from salary then you do not need to panic. You have many options, through which you can deposit the PF money back in the account.

How to complain if money is not deposited

First of all go to the official website of EPFO.

Here you will see Register Grievance, click on it.

Now select any one option from PF Member, EPS Pensioner, Employer.

After this, you have to select the PF member in it and enter the UAN number and security code.

Now click on Get Details option. Then go to Get OTP.

After this you can now file a complaint.

Action can be taken against the company after the complaint

If money has been deducted by the company and the amount has not been credited in your account, then according to the rule, action can also be taken against the company if it is more than 15 days. Along with this, the company will also be questioned.

Significantly, many schemes have also been started by EPFO for the employees. Employees can avail pension benefits by investing in a pension scheme. On the other hand, if there is any complaint under PF account then you can mail to employeefeedback@epfindia.gov.in. You can also avail benefits by calling on 1800118005.

The post EPFO: PF money was deducted and not deposited in the account, then know where and how to complain first appeared on Rightsofemployees.com.
