In a major new year announcement, the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the notification for the recruitment of 32,679 Constables. This follows the massive drive for over 60,000 posts earlier in 2025, bringing the total recruitment to nearly one lakh positions within a year.
The application window opened on December 31, 2025, and will remain active until January 30, 2026.

2. Eligibility & Physical Standards
The recruitment is open to both male and female candidates who meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualification: Must have passed Class 12 (Intermediate) from a recognized board.

Age Limit (General): * Males: 18–22 years (Demand for 3-year relaxation is currently a major topic of debate).

Females: 18–25 years.

Note: Reserved categories (OBC/SC/ST) receive up to 5 years of relaxation.

3. Selection Process
The recruitment will be conducted in four primary stages:

Written Examination: 150 objective-type questions (300 marks) covering GK, Hindi, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET): * Males: 4.8 km run in 25 minutes.

Females: 2.4 km run in 14 minutes.

Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Verification of height, weight (min 40kg for females), and chest.
