Indian Railways has changed the schedule of the country’s 47th Vande Bharat Express train (Hazrat Nizamuddin Khajuraho Vande Bharat train). This semi-high-speed train was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 12, 2024. This state-of-the-art train is being operated and maintained by the Northern Railway Zone.
India’s 47th Vande Bharat Express train, developed by Chennai-based Integral Coach Factory, runs between Hazrat Nizamuddin (Delhi) and Khajuraho (Madhya Pradesh). Train number 22470/22469 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Khajuraho-Hazrat Nizamuddin Vande Bharat train covers a distance of 659 km in 08:20 hours. It is the fastest train on this route.
During its journey between Delhi’s Hazrat Nizamuddin and Khajuraho, the Vande Bharat Express stops at six stations, which are – Agra Cantonment, Gwalior, V Laxmibai JHS, Lalitpur Junction, Tikamgarh and MCS Chhatarpur.
However, the railways have changed the stoppage of Hazrat Nizamuddin-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express. This train will also stop at Datia railway station on an experimental basis from May 13 till further notice.
Change in time table
Indian Railways has also changed the timing of train number 22469 Vande Bharat Express train in Gwalior. Now this train will reach Gwalior at 19:28. On the other hand, train number 22470 Vande Bharat Express train will stop at two stations – V Lakshmibai JHS and Tikamgarh. The train will now reach V Lakshmibai JHS at 10:30 and Tikamgarh at 12:21.

Hazrat Nizamuddin-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express train has 8 coaches. These include 7 AC chair car and 1 executive AC. The fare of Vande Bharat Express train from Hazrat Nizamuddin to Khajuraho is Rs 1665 for AC chair car and Rs 3055 for executive AC.
New Vande Bharat train between Jodhpur-Delhi
Meanwhile, Indian Railways is going to launch a new Vande Bharat Express train. This semi-high-speed train will run between Jodhpur and Delhi. This will improve connectivity between Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi. North Western Railway will maintain and operate this train.
Jodhpur-Delhi Vande Bharat train will run as a special train (04815). It will run via Degana Junction. This Vande Bharat train will cover a distance of 620 km in 09:05 hours. Railways operated Jodhpur-Delhi Vande Bharat special train on Monday 12 May.
