18 August Holiday: Govt Declares Monday Off, Schools to Remain Closed

18 August holiday – Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria has declared a holiday on Monday, August 18, during the Independence Day celebrations.

According to the announcement, all government, government-aided and private schools in Chandigarh will remain closed on Monday, August 18.

Kataria was the chief guest at the event. Gulab Chand Kataria also hoisted the national flag on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day.
