Bank Locker Agreement Revised: Big news for SBI Bank account customers! Will have to go to the bank and sign the new agreement

    SBI Bank Locker Agreement Revised: State Bank Of India has asked all the locker holders to sign the revised Locker Agreement by visiting their branch. The bank has changed the locker charges, customers will get information about this by visiting the bank.

    SBI LockerNew Fees: State Bank of India i.e. SBI has asked all the customers availing the locker service to go to their branch and sign the changed locker agreement. Regarding the notice on the revised locker agreement, SBI has tweeted that the customers should go to their branch to know about the new agreement and sign it. We recommend that all customers opting for SBI Locker service must go through the new agreement carefully.
    RBI has sent circular

    The Reserve Bank of India had already issued a circular instructing the banks to inform all the customers by April 30. Apart from this, it should be ensured that 50 percent customers sign the revised bank locker agreement by June 30 and 75 percent customers by September 30.

    How much does SBI charge?

    SBI locker charges depend on the branch and area. The bank charges a one-time locker registration charge of Rs 500 for small and medium size lockers plus GST. For large and XL lockers, customers have to pay Rs 1,000 plus GNG and registration charges.

    Small locker rent in SBI

    – Rs 2,000 plus GST for urban and metro cities
    – Rs 1,500 plus GST for rural and semi-urban

    Medium Locker Rent in SBI

    – Rs 4,000 plus GST for urban and metro cities
    Rs 3,000 plus GST for rural and semi-urban

    Large Locker Rent in SBI

    – Rs 8,000 plus GST for urban and metro cities
    – Rs 6,000 plus GST for rural and semi-urban

    Extra Large Locker Rent in SBI

    – Rs 12,000 plus GST for urban and metro cities
    – Rs 9,000 plus GST for rural and semi-urban
