Bank Holidays Alert: Banks will remain closed for 13 days in July; See the list of holidays

    Bank Holidays in July 2025: Every month, apart from the weekly holiday of banks, there are some holidays whose information is given by the Reserve Bank of India. You can know here how many days the banks will remain closed in July this time.

    Almost everyone has an account in some bank, where people keep their hard earned money. At the same time, many people also have more than one bank account. For example, the company opens salary accounts of those who are employed. Along with this, they also open their personal bank account. On

    the other hand, even after many things are online, people have to go to the bank for many different works. But is the bank open when you are going to the bank or planning to go? Because apart from the bank holidays, there are many other holidays every month due to which the bank remains closed. For example, take the month of July. There are many bank holidays this month too. So let’s know how many days the bank will remain closed in the month of July.

    This time banks will remain closed for 13 days:-
    • Banks in Agartala will remain closed on July 3 due to Kharchi Puja
    • Guru Hargobind Ji’s birthday will be celebrated on 5th July due to which banks will remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar
    • There will be a Sunday holiday on July 6 and hence there will be no work in banks across the country 
    • All banks in the country will remain closed on July 12 as it is the second Saturday of the month
    • 13th July is Sunday due to which all the banks in the country will remain closed
    • Banks will remain closed in Shillong on July 14 due to Beh Denkhlam
    • Harela festival will be celebrated with great pomp on 16th July due to which the banks of Dehradun will remain closed
    • July 17 is the death anniversary of U Tirot Singh, due to which banks in Shillong will remain closed
    • Banks will remain closed in Agartala on July 19 due to Ker Puja
    • All banks in the country will remain closed on Sunday, July 20
    • All banks in the country will remain closed on 26th July due to it being the fourth Saturday of the month
    • There will be a Sunday holiday on 27th July and hence all the banks in the country will remain closed
    • Banks in Gangtok will remain closed on July 28 due to Drukpa Tshe-ji
