The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has officially launched its first major housing project of 2026, the “DDA Nagrik Awaas Yojana.” Targeting the general public, this scheme offers a flat 25% discount on 1,720 ready-to-move-in flats across Narela and Siraspur.

The scheme focuses on affordable urban housing, with most units located in the rapidly developing Narela area.

2. Booking Timeline & Process

Unlike traditional DDA lotteries, this scheme operates on a First-Come, First-Served (FCFS) basis.

  • Registration: Open now.

  • Booking Date: Starts January 28, 2026, at 12:00 Noon.

  • Registration Fee: ₹2,500 (Non-refundable).

  • How to Apply: 1. Visit the official DDA Awaas Portal.

    2. Register using your PAN and Aadhaar details.

    3. On Jan 28, log in and select your preferred flat from the live inventory.

    4. You will have a 15-minute window to pay the booking amount online to secure the flat.


3. Eligibility Highlights

  • Age: Applicant must be at least 18 years old.

  • Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen.

  • No Property Bar: Unlike previous schemes, there is no restriction on already owning a house or plot in Delhi for the general public categories in this specific FCFS scheme.

  • Income: No income limit for HIG, MIG, or LIG. However, for EWS flats, the total family income must be less than ₹10 Lakh per annum.
