Air India Express on Sunday announced ‘Freedom Sale’ on the occasion of India’s 79th Independence Day. Under this sale, about 50 lakh seats will be available on domestic and international routes, with a starting price of Rs 1,279 for domestic flights and Rs 4,279 for international flights. The airline company said in a statement that booking under this sale is open till August 15 for travel from August 19, 2025 to March 31, 2026.
For international flights, you will have to pay Rs 4,279
The statement said that the fares for domestic flights are starting from Rs 1,279 and for international flights from Rs 4,279. This sale will be available only on the airline’s website and Air India Express app from August 10. At the same time, it will also be available on all major booking channels from August 11 to 15. Travel under this offer can be done from August 19, 2025 to March 31, 2026.

Earlier, IndiGo had come up with a ‘Happy Indigo Day Sale’ on the special occasion of its 19th anniversary. Bookings were open from 00:01 on 3 August 2025 to 23:59 on 6 August 2025. This sale is valid for travel from 10 August 2025 to 31 March 2026. This special sale of IndiGo was a way to celebrate the occasion with its customers and express gratitude for their continued support over the years.
