Bank Holiday on Saturday 2 August 2025: Today 2 August is the first Saturday of the month and banks will remain open on this day. According to the rules of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks are closed only on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month.
Whereas on the first, third and if there is a fifth Saturday, then the banks remain open normally on that day. Since 3 August is the first Saturday, all government and private banks will work on this day.
Avoid confusion regarding bank holidays
