Bank Holiday In July 2025: Banks will remain closed for 11 days in July, check the complete list of holidays

Bank Holiday July 2025 : There will be bank holidays in many states of the country in July 2025. Due to these holidays, banks are going to remain closed for 11 days due to local and religious festivals in different states of the country.

The 11 days of July holidays include weekly holidays. Weekly holidays include all Sundays, second and fourth Saturdays. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has declared these holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act. However, these holidays will not be the same across the country. Banks will be closed on different dates according to local festivals in each state.

17 July (Thursday): Death anniversary of U Tirot Singh

Uttarakhand (Dehradun)

16 July (Wednesday): Harela Festival

Digital banking services will continue

During these holidays, bank branches will remain closed, but customers can transact through digital means like ATM, internet banking, mobile apps. However, some services like NEFT, RTGS or check clearance can be carried forward on the next working day.

What to do?

If you have to do some important work in the bank—like depositing cash, getting a demand draft or getting a cheque cleared—then keep these holidays in mind and finish your important work beforehand.
