Heavy Rain Alert: There will be heavy rain in these 8 states from 25 to 30 June, check weather condition in your city

Heavy Rain Alert: Heavy monsoon rains in many parts of the country on Tuesday badly affected normal life. People had to face problems due to waterlogging in cities like Surat and Vapi in Gujarat. At the same time, many areas in Nashik, Maharashtra were submerged due to the overflowing of the Godavari river. Heavy rains were also recorded in coastal states of South India like Kerala.

Heavy rain alert in many states of the country

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of heavy rains in the western, central, eastern and southern parts of the country between June 25 and 30. Torrential rains are expected in Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Gujarat, Saurashtra and Kutch during these days. Heavy rains may also occur at isolated places in Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Western Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan of North-West India.

Possibility of rain in Bihar-Jharkhand

Heavy rain warning has been issued in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and Chhattisgarh till June 28, where strong winds can also blow at a speed of 40 to 50 km per hour. Rain is also expected in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on June 29.

A ‘yellow alert’ has been issued for Wednesday in Delhi as well. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain and thunderstorms during the day. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 34 degrees Celsius and the minimum around 27 degrees Celsius.

There may be heavy rain in South India

Heavy rains are also forecast in the next few days in Northeast India and South Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. People have been urged to be cautious about strong winds and lightning in these areas. The Meteorological Department has advised people to be cautious and stay indoors as needed.
