Bank Holidays: As per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday calendar, banks across India will remain closed for one day in the upcoming week. Next week, on June 22, 2025, banks will remain closed for one day as that day is a Sunday. As per RBI guidelines, all banks across India remain closed every Sunday.
Will banks be open or closed on Saturday 21st June?
Banks will be open on June 21, the third Saturday of the month. As per the RBI calendar, banks are usually closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month, while they are open on the first and third Saturdays of every month.

June 7 (Saturday) — Bakrid (Eid-uz-Zuha) — All banks will remain closed across India.
June 11 (Wednesday) — Sant Guru Kabir Jayanti / Saga Dawa — Banks will remain closed in Sikkim and Himachal Pradesh.
June 27 (Friday) — Rath Yatra / Kang (Rathajatra) — Banks will remain closed in Odisha and Manipur.
June 30 (Monday) – Remna Ni – Banks will remain closed in Mizoram.
Can I avail online banking services?
Online banking will be available nationwide during bank holidays, allowing customers to carry out financial transactions with ease. Requests for fund transfer can be submitted using NEFT/RTGS transfer forms, demand draft request forms and chequebook forms. Credit cards, debit cards and ATM cards are available through card services. Additional services such as account maintenance forms, setting up standing instructions and applying for lockers are also provided.
