Canada PR: The government provides Permanent Residency (PR) to workers working in Canada. Every year, lakhs of workers get the opportunity to settle permanently in Canada.
Foreign workers including Indians in Canada are given PR through the Express Entry Program. Recently, the Canadian government has excluded many jobs from the STEM category and included some. Overall, there are 11 types of jobs included in the STEM category, for people doing which it will be very easy to get PR. Below is the detail of jobs in the STEM category:

- Mechanical Engineering Technologists and Technicians
- Mechanical Engineers
In this category, you will be considered eligible for PR only if you have at least six months of full-time work experience. Not only this, but you will also have to be eligible for the Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Worker Program and Federal Skilled Trades Program. Now if you fulfill all these conditions, then it will be very easy for you to settle permanently in Canada. However, other conditions of PR will also have to be taken care of.
