Students who appeared in the CBSE board examination in the year 2025 can get their DigiLocker access code from the school. This 6 digit access code will be required to check CBSE Board 10th and 12th Result 2025 on DigiLocker.

Get access code from school
1- Get the 6 digit DigiLocker access code from your school. This code has been made available to schools through their DigiLocker account on cbse.digitallocker.gov.in.
2- If the code is 5 digits then add 0 at the beginning (example: make 12345 012345).
Activate DigiLocker Account
Visit the official DigiLocker website digilocker.gov.in or download the DigiLocker app (from Google Play Store or Apple App Store).
If you do not already have an account, sign up. For this, enter your mobile number (which is registered with CBSE) and Aadhaar number. Then verify the mobile number through OTP.
Existing users log in with their credentials (mobile number/Aadhaar and password). New users visit cbseservices.digilocker.gov.in/activatecbse. Enter your class (10th/12th), school code, roll number and 6-digit access code.
DigiLocker account will be activated after OTP verification.
How to download CBSE marksheet from DigiLocker?
1- Log in to DigiLocker after the CBSE Result 2025 is declared.
2- Go to “Education” or “Issued Documents” section and select “Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)”.
3- Select your class (10th/12th) and passing year (2025).
4- Enter your roll number and other required details.
5- Download Marksheet, Passing Certificate or Migration Certificate and store it in DigiLocker with “Save to Locker” option.
What to do if mobile number is not registered?
1- If your mobile number is not registered with CBSE then sign up on DigiLocker and select “Pull Partner Documents” option.
2- Download the marksheet by entering your class, roll number and passing year in the CBSE section.
Useful information
: Provisional marksheet: The marksheet available on DigiLocker will be provisional. The original marksheet will be available from the school after a few days.
Other methods: Results can also be checked through cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, results.gov.in, SMS or UMANG app.
Rechecking/Revaluation: After the results are released, if you are dissatisfied with your marks then you can apply for rechecking or revaluation in May/June 2025. As per the new procedure, first get a photocopy of the answer sheet, then apply for verification or revaluation.
CBSE Passing Criteria:
Class 10: Minimum 33% marks in each subject including theory and internal assessment.
Class 12: Minimum 33% marks in theory and practical separately.
