After the result is declared, students can check their result on the official website of CBSE, cbse.gov.in , using their exam roll number and date of birth.

What is the result date?

Last year, the results of class 10th and 12th were declared by CBSE on 13th May. In such a situation, it is expected that this time too the board can release the result within the next two-three days. Students are requested to keep their admit card ready as it will be helpful in downloading the result.

A step towards new change and transparency

CBSE has introduced several new processes to promote transparency. Now students can apply for a photocopy of their evaluated answer sheet. This move is especially for those students who want to undergo the process of marks verification or re-evaluation, so that transparency is maintained in the post-result process.

CBSE Result 2025: Most Important Updates

  1. Instructions for failing students : If a class 12th student fails in more than two subjects, he/she will not get a chance to appear in compartment exam and will have to repeat his/her class.
  2. Importance of practical exam : Class 12th students will need to pass the practical exam separately. If the marks in practical are low, then getting 33% marks in theory alone will not be of any use.
  3. Rigor of exams in the current year : CBSE ensured strict monitoring of the exam in 2025. The exam was conducted in 26 countries and at 7,842 centres, making it one of the largest education boards in the world.
  4. Apply for Marks Verification : If students have any doubts regarding their marks, they can apply and get a photocopy of their answer sheet. After this, they can request for verification.
  5. Download Result from DigiLocker : After the result is declared, students can easily download their result through DigiLocker. In this, they have to log in with their Aadhaar number or mobile number and can get their mark sheet instantly.

What will be the trend of this year’s results?

Last year, the passing percentage of class 12th was 87.98%, and similar results are expected this time as well. Good performance can be seen especially in areas like Trivandrum and Delhi. Board officials say that the difficulty level of the exam was higher than usual, and hence students can expect stability in this year’s result.
