According to a report by our sister website, Moneycontrol, Indraprastha Gas Limited i.e. IGL has increased the price of compressed natural gas by one rupee per kg. After this increase, the price of CNG in the capital Delhi has increased from Rs 76.09 per kg to Rs 77.09. IGL had also increased the rate of CNG last month. On April 7, the company had increased the price of CNG by one rupee per kg in Delhi.
The new retail prices of CNG have also become effective from 6 am today, May 3. With this increase, the price of CNG per kg in Noida and Ghaziabad has also increased from Rs 84.70 to Rs 85.70. Due to the increase in the rate of CNG by Indraprastha Gas Limited, the price of CNG in Gurugram has now become Rs 83.12, in Kanpur Rs 89.92 and in Meerut Rs 87.08. New Delhi is a major market for Indraprastha Gas Limited. The capital Delhi has the highest share in the CNG sold by the company. About 70 percent of IGL’s CNG sales are from Delhi, while the remaining 30 percent is from other cities.
Last month too, Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) had increased
the price of CNG by one rupee to three rupees. In Delhi, the price of CNG was increased by one rupee while in other places it was increased by up to 3 rupees. Now in less than a month, the company has increased the rate of CNG for the second time.
