Three-Year Lock-In Period

Funds deposited in the Recurring Deposit remain locked for three years. After the lock-in period, the accumulated amount along with interest is credited to the beneficiary’s bank account.

Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT)

Financial assistance will be transferred directly to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts after successful verification.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

Age

  • Women aged 21 to 60 years.

Annual Income

  • Family annual income should not exceed ₹2.5 lakh.

Delhi Residency

  • Applicant must have been a resident of Delhi for at least 10 years.
  • A self-declaration confirming continuous residence is required.

Family Conditions

  • Only one eligible woman per family can receive benefits.
  • Where multiple women qualify, the eldest eligible woman will receive the assistance.
  • The applicant and family members should not have any criminal record.

Who Is Not Eligible?

The following categories are excluded from the scheme:

  • Government employees.
  • Government pensioners.
  • Women already receiving regular financial assistance under another government scheme.
  • Families paying income tax.
  • GST-registered households.
  • Families owning a four-wheeler.
  • Households consuming more than 2,400 electricity units annually.
  • Women with more than three living children.
  • Families with members employed in Central Government, State Government, Public Sector Undertakings or other government organizations.
