Delhi Heavy Rain: In view of the possibility of rain in Delhi on Tuesday, Air India and SpiceJet have issued advisories for passengers. The airlines have warned that the rain may affect flights to and from Delhi and air traffic. Air India has urged passengers to check the current status of their flight before leaving home and keep in mind the extra time to reach the airport.
There is a possibility of getting some relief from the heat
According to the Meteorological Department, light to heavy rain is expected in most parts of Delhi on Tuesday as well. This is expected to bring some relief from the humid heat. Passengers are advised to keep the weather and flight information updated before traveling so that any inconvenience can be avoided.
Yamuna water level reached close to the danger mark
The water level of Yamuna river in Delhi has reached close to the danger mark. The water level near the old Yamuna bridge was recorded at about 205 meters, which is a cause of concern. If the rain continues like this, the situation may become more serious. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Gurugram and Faridabad. There is a possibility of thunder and lightning along with moderate rain in these areas. Officials have advised people living in these areas to be alert and take necessary precautions.
