Driving License: Providing great convenience to the common people, the Punjab government has now made five services related to the Revenue Department and 27 services of the Transport Department related to Driving License and RC available at the service centers.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Agarwal said in this regard that 15 services related to Driving License and 12 services related to RC will now be available at the service centers.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has given a big relief to the people of Punjab. Now, 14 services related to deed registration, preparation of draft of deed, submission of deed for pre-verification, payment of stamp duty, application for transfer (on the basis of inheritance or registered deed), application for registration of report (related to court order, mortgage deed of bank loan or bank loan/mortgage deed waiver) etc. and RC can be availed from the service centers.
He said that citizens who cannot come to the service centers can also avail these services through home delivery by dialing the phone number 1076. Services related to driving license include services related to learner license such as new application process, change of address, change of name, duplicate learner license etc. RC. Services related to this include duplicate RC, change in ownership of non-commercial vehicle, continuation of hyper purchase (in case of change of ownership/name), support of hyper purchase agreement, fitness certificate of commercial vehicles (heavy/medium/three wheeler/four wheeler/LMV) etc.
