1. Submitting Aadhaar for Small Savings Scheme
If you invest in small savings schemes and you have not yet given your Aadhaar number to the concerned bank or post office, then your account will be suspended from October 1, 2023. In such a situation, those investing in Senior Citizen Saving Scheme, Public Provident Fund, National Savings Certificate or other post office plans will have to provide their Aadhaar number in their post office or bank branch by 30 September 2023.
2. SBI WeCare:
The deadline to invest in this special scheme of State Bank of India for senior citizens is September 30, 2023. Only senior citizens can invest in this scheme. Those investing in this scheme get the benefit of higher interest.
3. IDBI Amrit Mahotsav FD
The deadline for investment in this special scheme is also 30 September 2023. Under this scheme, the bank is offering interest at the rate of 7.10 percent to general, NRE and NRO customers on FD of 375 days. The bank is giving interest at the rate of 7.60 percent to senior citizens. At the same time, for 444 days FD, the bank is offering 7.15 percent interest to general customers and 7.65 percent interest to senior citizens.
4. Demat, Mutual Fund Nomination
Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) had extended the deadline for trading and demat account holders to file nomination or opt out of nomination to September 30, 2023. In such a situation, if you have not done this work yet, then you will have to complete it by 30th September.
5. Last date to exchange Rs 2000
The Reserve Bank of India had fixed the date till September 30, 2023 for depositing or exchanging the Rs 2000 note. This date is now coming closer. In such a situation, you should complete this work as soon as possible.
