There is good news for the Ladli Behan of Maharashtra. The message of transfer of installment of July month to the account will soon come on their mobile.

The Mahayuti government led by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has approved the honorarium of July month for ‘Ladli Behan’. Rs 2984 crore has been released for the eligible beneficiary women of the ambitious ‘Ladli Behan’ scheme of the Mahayuti government. The Women and Child Development Department of the state has issued a government decision and transferred the amount of the July installment. According to the information, this government money was released on July 30. After this decision of the government, now the Ladli Behan will soon get the money for July. The Maharashtra government is currently giving Rs 1500 per month to the Ladli Behan. The government started this scheme before the assembly elections last year. This is the 13th installment of the scheme.

26.34 lakh Behan out

Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana is an ambitious scheme of the Mahayuti government of Maharashtra. The government had distributed the installment of the month of June to 2.25 crore eligible women. The government had stopped the payment of 26.34 lakh women due to their ineligibility. The government had said that this payment has been stopped temporarily. So far, the Maharashtra government has given Rs 18000 to the beneficiary women of Ladli Behan Yojana through 12 installments. Now the government has approved the amount for the 13th installment. According to the Women and Child Welfare Department of Maharashtra, during the scrutiny of the applications, it was found that 26.34 lakh women were not eligible for the Ladli Behan Yojana or they violated the rules.

When will the money come in the account?

The Women and Child Welfare Department, while examining the applications, found that many beneficiary women were taking advantage of more than one government scheme. In some cases, more than two women in the same family were beneficiaries. Surprisingly, some men had also applied for this scheme through fake documents and were getting benefits till now. The Women and Child Welfare Department is currently being handled by Minister Aditi Tatkare from NCP quota. The Finance Department is also with the NCP. As Deputy CM, Ajit Pawar is the owner of Maharashtra’s treasury. If sources are to be believed, the amount of the 13th installment will reach the accounts of Laadli Behans before the festival of Rakshabandhan.
