Heavy Rain Alert: The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy to very heavy rains in many parts of the country for the next five days. Heavy rain alert has been issued in some states of the south including the northeastern states. Also, strong winds have been predicted in many parts.
IMD (India Meteorological Department) has issued an alert of heavy to very heavy rains in many parts of the country. The Meteorological Department has predicted that from May 20 to May 25, many parts of the country will receive torrential rains and thunderstorms are also expected. These days, rain is expected in many parts of the country including Konkan, Karnataka, Kerala and Goa.
Due to seasonal activities, heavy to very heavy rains may also occur in Northeast and Peninsular India.
