According to the Meteorological Department, the wind speed in Delhi can be 40 to 50 kilometers per hour till May 13. Along with this, the sky can remain cloudy. This series of bad weather in the capital can continue till May 16. The sky can be partially cloudy during May 14, 15, and 16, but the wind speed can be slow.

Weather of last 24 hours in Delhi

There was no significant change in the maximum and minimum temperatures in Delhi in the last 24 hours. On Friday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 36.7 degrees and the minimum temperature was 25.8 degrees Celsius, which was 2 to 5 degrees below normal. Palam airport also received light rain and winds blew at a speed of 37 kilometers per hour.

What is the weather condition in the rest of India?

According to the Meteorological Department, a new round of hot winds may start in eastern India from May 10. There is a possibility of rain and lightning along with thunderstorms in northwest and central India for the next 4 to 5 days. There is also a possibility of heavy rain and lightning in northeastern India between May 10 and 13.

Direction of monsoon

An important update has also come regarding the monsoon. The Meteorological Department says that the southwest monsoon can reach the southern Andaman Sea, parts of the southeastern Bay of Bengal and the Nicobar Islands around May 13.
