Security measures have been tightened after India carried out air strikes on terrorist camps in Pakistan last night. The Chandigarh administration has cancelled the leave of all health department employees. The orders have asked to remain on alert 24 hours.
The Health Department has issued an order that all the leaves of all the Medical Officers-in-Charge and employees posted in AAMs and UAAMs have been cancelled till further orders. Now they will have to be ready for 24×7 emergency duty. They should immediately report for duty whenever, anywhere and at any time if called.
The order further states that the medical staff will have to be on call 24×7. When you receive a call from the department, you will have to respond immediately. If this is not done, strict action will be taken. Currently, the leaves of the medical staff in Chandigarh have been cancelled.
