Even South India was not spared

Somewhere it rains, somewhere it heats up: The temperature also became difficult

While clouds are providing relief in some parts of the country, heat has made states like Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh miserable. The temperature in Nagpur reached 44.7 degrees Celsius – the highest in the country at the moment. Heatwave-like conditions persist in many areas. The mercury has crossed 40 degrees in Rajasthan, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Odisha, while some parts of North India may see a further rise of 2-3 degrees.

Condition of capital Delhi

The day temperature in Delhi remains between 38-39 degrees and the night temperature remains between 25-26 degrees Celsius. Although the weather will remain normal for the next two days, light winds and clouds can reduce the heat to some extent.
