Period of storm and rain in many states of the country
On May 5, there is a possibility of thunderstorms with a speed of 50 to 60 kmph gusting to 70 kmph at different places in Madhya Pradesh. There may be rain with strong winds in Vidarbha on May 5 and 6, Chhattisgarh, Odisha on May 5. The Meteorological Department has predicted that the rain may continue in many states till May 9.
The weather has taken a turn
IMD predicts that the weather will remain harsh in North West India till May 7. On the other hand, thunderstorms, heavy rains and hailstorms are expected in Central and Eastern India in the next 4 to 5 days. Heavy rains are expected in Northeast India between May 5 and 8. The Meteorological Department predicts that many states of the country may receive torrential rains till May 8. Apart from this, strong winds will also blow along with thunder and lightning.
