IMD issued strict warning, Red alert for thunderstorm and lightning in these districts

The weather has changed once again in Bihar. Rain has started with strong winds in many areas of North Bihar on Monday evening. The Meteorological Department has predicted hailstorm along with thunderstorm, rain, lightning.

A red alert has been issued in Muzaffarpur, Shivhar, West Champaran and East Champaran districts. At the same time, an orange alert has been issued in Sitamarhi, Siwan, Gopalganj districts. In these districts, there is a possibility of wind blowing at a speed of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour, rain and lightning as well as hailstorm at some places on Monday night.

According to the Meteorological Department, on Monday the maximum and minimum temperatures of most cities in the state fell. Motihari had the highest temperature of 41 degree Celsius in the state and the city with the lowest temperature was Madhepura with 24.1 degree Celsius. Apart from Motihari, Gopalganj recorded a maximum temperature of 40.2 degree Celsius, Dehri of Rohtas recorded 40.1 degree Celsius and Gaya recorded a maximum temperature of 40 degree Celsius. Apart from this, the maximum temperature of other cities remained below 40 degree Celsius.

On the other hand, people are feeling more heat due to the combination of temperature and humidity in the state including Patna. On Monday, the maximum temperature of the state was 41 degrees Celsius and the humidity was 90 percent, due to which people experienced 10 to 12 degrees Celsius more than the recorded temperature. Due to this, people are feeling uncomfortable heat.
