Bihar Rain Alert: Patna Meteorological Center has issued a warning of strong winds, thunderstorms and rain in many districts of Bihar. This alert is from 8:30 am on May 4 to 8:30 am on May 5.
The department has appealed to the people to be alert and take necessary precautions. The effect of weather can be seen more in the northern and eastern districts of Bihar. The Meteorological Department has predicted strong winds at a speed of 30-60 km per hour and thunderstorms with lightning in these districts.

Orange alert in these districts
Patna Meteorological Center has issued an orange alert and said that there is a possibility of gusty winds at a speed of 50-60 km/hour and thunderstorms in many districts on May 4 and 5. These include Sitamarhi, Shivhar, Madhubani, Supaul, Araria, Purnia, Katihar, Kishanganj, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Saharsa, Madhepura, Khagaria, Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Saran, Gopalganj, East and West Champaran.
Yellow alert in these districts
Patna Meteorological Center issued a yellow alert and said that winds can blow at a speed of 30-40 km/hour in many districts on May 4 and 5. These districts include Patna, Gaya, Aurangabad, Rohtas, Bhojpur, Buxar, Nalanda, Jehanabad, Nawada, Jamui, Sheikhpura, Lakhisarai, Arwal, Kaimur district.
What did the weather department say
Meteorological Center Patna said that there may be a period of storm till May 5. Farmers should be especially cautious in such weather. Do not stand in open fields, under trees or near electric poles during bad weather.
Administration in alert mode
All the District Magistrates and Disaster Management Department of Bihar have been asked to remain alert and be prepared to deal with any possible emergency. Relief and rescue teams have also been instructed to be ready.
