In the office notification of May 9, pilgrims have been advised to be patient. As you know, military tension between India and Pakistan has increased significantly. Pakistan is constantly trying to carry out air strikes in the states bordering India and is continuously sending drones. India is also responding to this strongly.

More than 3600 people will go this year
Earlier, the Haj Committee in Jammu and Kashmir had released the flight schedule for the first batch of pilgrims leaving from Srinagar for Haj pilgrimage in 2025. The first flight was scheduled on May 4. The committee had then said that the flight schedule for the rest of the pilgrims would be notified separately. This year, more than 3600 pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir are going to perform Haj under the government quota.
