Now Jio has introduced two new recharge plans in which data will not be available, but only unlimited calling and SMS will be provided. In fact, a few days ago, TRAI had asked all telecom companies to bring such cheap plans which have only calling and messaging facilities. This will benefit those users who do not use the internet much. After this, Jio has launched two cheap plans.
1. Rs 458 plan, 84 days validity
In this plan, you will get unlimited calling for 84 days. You will also get 1000 free SMS. Not only this, you will also get free access to apps like Jio Cinema and Jio TV, which means you will also get some entertainment. National roaming is also completely free.
2. Rs 1958 Plan – Valid for 365 days
If you want to recharge once and stay worry-free for the whole year, then this plan is for you. In this, you will also get unlimited calling, 3600 free SMS and access to Jio apps for 365 days. This means that you will continue to enjoy entertainment even without data.
Old plans discontinued
Along with these new plans, Jio has also discontinued two of its old plans. The Rs 479 plan that offered 6GB data and a validity of 84 days, and the Rs 1899 plan that offered 24GB data and a validity of 336 days, are no longer available. These new voice-only plans from Jio are very beneficial for those who use their mobile only for talking and sending messages. Now, long-validity plans are also available without data and that too at low prices that will not put much burden on your pocket.
