The Punjab School Education Department has prepared special homework for the students of government schools during the summer vacations (2025). This homework will be given to the students of classes VI to X in English, Punjabi, Mathematics, EVS, Science and Social Science subjects. The homework has been prepared in PDF format and has been uploaded on the PunjabEducare app.
The letter issued by SCERT said that all school principals and teachers have been instructed to ensure that this homework reaches the students. This effort is being made to connect students with studies during the holidays. SCERT Director Arvind Kaur said that the purpose of homework is to continue the learning process of students even during the summer holidays.
Let us tell you that in many states this time the summer vacations are being held as per the fixed schedule. Usually the vacations are from June 1 to July. However, changes are made in these keeping in mind the weather. Talking about Punjab, last time the vacations were held on May 21 due to sudden increase in heat. But this time it is expected to be held as per the fixed schedule.
