New Toll Rule in UP: Two-Wheelers Now Included — Check Route and Updated Rates

The toll system has now started on the Gorakhpur Link Expressway in Uttar Pradesh. In such a situation, people who use this route will now have to loosen their pockets for the journey.

From August 1, commuters from Lucknow to Gorakhpur on the Gorakhpur Link Expressway in Uttar Pradesh will now have to loosen their pockets. Collection of toll tax will begin on the Link Expressway. UP Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) has released the rates from the first toll to the last toll.

According to this, two-wheelers, three-wheelers and registered tractors will have to pay Rs 140. Cars, jeeps, vans or light vehicles will have to pay Rs 285. Light commercial vehicles and minibuses will have to pay Rs 440 and bus trucks will have to pay Rs 840. Heavy construction machinery and multi-axle vehicles will have to pay Rs 1335 and large vehicles will have to pay Rs 1745.

If you return in a day, you will get a discount of 40%. Apart from this, if the vehicle returns on the same day, it will have to pay 60% toll. Vehicles making 20 or more single journeys in a month will have to pay 80% fee.

CM Yogi had given the gift

CM Yogi inaugurated it on 20th June. Built at a cost of 7283 crores, this expressway is 91.352 km long and will benefit the people of Gorakhpur, Ambedkar Nagar, Sant Kabir Nagar and Azamgarh and other districts.

What is the route of this expressway?

The total estimated length of this expressway is 91.35 km. It has 4 lanes which can be expanded to 6 lanes. Underpasses are available for vehicles, animals and pedestrians. Apart from this, there are also service roads connecting major bridges.

The expressway starts from Jaitpur on the Gorakhpur bypass (NH-27) in Gorakhpur district and ends at Salarpur (south of Jalalpur). It meets the Purvanchal Expressway in Azamgarh district.
