What is the new feature?
PhonePe has added payment reminder and auto pay option to its app. With the help of this feature, you can set the payment date, amount and biller in advance and then on the specified date you will get a reminder or the payment will be done automatically.
- First of all open the PhonePe app in your phone.
- Tap on the profile icon on the top right.
- Now scroll down and go to Settings and Preferences.
- Here you will see the option of Reminders, click on it.
- Then tap on Add Reminder and fill all the details related to the payment, to whom the payment is to be made, how much is the amount, how often (daily/weekly/monthly).
- Select the date, add a message if you want and then save it.
- That’s it! Your settings are ready. Now on the specified date the app will remind you that you have to make the payment.

- If you want the payment to be done automatically on the specified date every month, then the AutoPay feature of PhonePe is the best for you.
How to activate auto pay?
- Open the PhonePe app again and tap on the profile icon.
- Now go to Payment Settings and tap on Autopay Settings there.
- Then select Manage Autopay and click on it.
- Here you have to select your biller and also select the card through which the payment will be made – like Visa, MasterCard, ICICI etc.
Now enter the payment amount and confirm it.
Once it is set, your bill will be paid automatically and the best part is that you will also get a reminder before the payment so that you can stop it if you want.
