Pension News: Big news for pensioners! Changed the rules for submitting Life Certificate, it is important for you to know

    Life Certificate: If you are also a pensioner, then there is important news for you. Now a new facility has been started for pension account holders. Now pensioners can submit life certificate through video call.

    There is good news for pensioners. Now pensioners can submit life certificate through video call sitting at home. Actually, SBI and Bank of Baroda have given the facility to their customers to submit their life certificate through a simple video call. That is, now pensioners can easily submit their life certificate through video call sitting at home. SBI and BoB have given information about this in a tweet.

    Bank gave information

    Let us tell you that the life certificate is submitted in November. You can deposit it anytime throughout the month. If a pensioner fails to do so, then his pension can be stopped. Now it can also be deposited in digital form. SBI and Bank of Baroda have informed by tweeting that you can take the help of video call to submit your Annual Life Certificate. Through this facility, you can submit life certificate sitting at home only through video call.

    This is how BOB customers submit life certificate

    1. For this you first click on the official website of the bank, Bankofbaroda.com.
    2. Now enter the PPO number and account number from which your pension comes.
    3. Now enter the One Time Password (OTP) received on your registered mobile number with SBI and Aadhaar and click on submit button.
    4. After this choose one of the options given here.
    5. After this select the Call Now or Later option.
    6. Now you will be made a video call by the bank and after that BOB agent will appear in front of you.
    7. After this you have to fill your photo ID and further details.
    8. OTP will come again on the registered mobile number of Aadhar, which should be re-entered.
    9. After this you submit your life certificate.

    SBI customers submit certificates like this

    1. Pensioners visit the ‘SBI pensions seva’ website and click on the ‘VidioLc’ link at the top.
    2. Now submit the account number in which you get your pension, then enter the captcha and tick the checkbox to use your Aadhaar data.
    3. After that, on the basis of your valid account number, an OTP will come on the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar card.
    4. After this submit your required certificates and click on Next. Now schedule an appointment for the video call on the new page as per your convenience.
    5. A confirmation will be sent to you through SMS and email.
    6. After confirmation, join the video call as per schedule. You will have to read a verification code and also show your PAN card in the call with the bank official.
    7. Hold the camera after verification so that the bank official can capture your face clearly.
    8. At the end of the session a message will confirm that your information has been recorded.
    9. After this, information about ‘Video Life Certificate Service’ will be given to the pensioners through SMS.
