PM Kisan Yojana 21st Installment : Approximately 8.55 lakh farmers in Jammu and Kashmir have been released ₹171 crore as part of the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Yojana. This amount has been transferred directly to farmers’ accounts, helping them with farming and livelihoods.
PM Kisan Yojana 21st Installment: The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Yojana), being implemented for farmers across the country, has now brought significant relief to farmers in Jammu and Kashmir. The central government has released financial assistance of ₹171 crore for eligible farmers in the state, which will be transferred directly to their bank accounts.
8.55 lakh farmers will receive financial assistance
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha announced on Tuesday that approximately 8.55 lakh eligible farmers in the state are receiving assistance of approximately ₹171 crore under the PM Kisan Yojana. This amount is being transferred directly to the farmers’ bank accounts, eliminating the involvement of any middlemen.

Expressing gratitude to the Prime Minister and Agriculture Minister
LG Manoj Sinha’s office thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan through a post on the social media platform X. The post stated that the decision to release the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Yojana in advance has brought great relief to the farmers of the state.
