PM Kisan 21st Installment 2025: The government has already released the 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) scheme for flood- and landslide-affected farmers in Jammu and Kashmir. Now, farmers in states where the installments have not been released are awaiting their installments.

Amid the Bihar Assembly elections in 2025, the 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is expected to be deposited into farmers’ accounts soon.

To help farmers

Under this scheme, the central government provides farmers with financial assistance of ₹6,000 annually to help with their farming and daily needs. Twenty installments have been released so far, and millions of farmers are eagerly awaiting the 21st installment, which is expected in early November 2025.

E-KYC is essential for farmers

E-KYC is mandatory for every farmer. Without e-KYC, farmers may lose the ₹2,000 installment. Therefore, ensure timely e-KYC is completed. E-KYC (Electronic Know Your Customer) is mandatory for all PM Kisan beneficiaries. Without it, the farmer’s name may be removed from the beneficiary list.

You can complete e-KYC in three easy ways:

OTP-based e-KYC: If your Aadhaar is linked to your mobile number, visit the PM Kisan website and verify using the OTP.

Biometric e-KYC: Visit your nearest Common Service Center (CSC) for fingerprint authentication.

Face Authentication: For senior citizens and physically disabled farmers, a special feature is now available at CSCs that allows e-KYC through facial recognition.

According to the scheme’s official website, e-KYC is mandatory for PM Kisan registered farmers.
