Post Office Account Balance Check! Post office small saving customers will now be able to check balance in minutes, know how

    A special facility has been started for the customers of Small Saving Schemes, with the help of which the account holders of the Post Office Small Saving Schemes can get complete information about their account from anywhere.

    There will be no need to activate Net Banking and Mobile Banking service for this, as the e-passbook feature of small savings schemes has been launched.

    With the help of e-passbook feature, any account holder under small savings schemes can check his balance within a few minutes. In the notification issued by the Department of Posts on October 12, 2022, it was said that it has been decided to start this facility to provide simple facility to the people and to make the process easier.

    According to the notification, any customer can take complete details of his account under small savings schemes like PPF, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana anytime and from anywhere. This work can be done under the e-passbook facility. To access the facility of e-passbook, you must have a registered number linked to the account. No fee will be charged for this facility.

    What are the facilities under e-passbook?

    • With the help of this facility you can check your balance.
    • You can also download the mini statement, which will be downloaded in PDF format. Mini statements will be available for Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, Post Office Savings Account and PPF schemes. This facility will be given for other schemes in future also. The mini statement will contain the last 10 transactions.
    • There is also a facility to issue full statements, under which the statement can be downloaded during a stipulated time.

    E-Passbook: How to Check PPF, Savings Account, Sukanya Samriddhi Account Balance

    • First of all go to the e-Passbook link indiapost.gov.in or ippbonline.com.
    • Now login by entering mobile number, captcha code and enter OTP.
    • After this, select the option with e-passbook given here.
    • Now you have to enter the scheme type, account number, registered mobile number and captcha, click on proceed and verify by entering OTP.
    • After this, you can choose the option of balance information, mini statement, full statement.

    Let us tell you that if you are facing any kind of problem while using this facility or if the mobile number is showing error, then you can get it rectified by contacting the concerned post office.
